I'm so glad you enjoyed all three stories! I've been playing around with the idea of a fourth story to tie it all together, but that's all I can say for now! As long as theres even just one person enjoying my stories, I'll be happy to share them! Thank you for catching the typo, I'll correct it right now.

Thank you! I'm hoping the time passes quickly. I'm just as eager to resume writing!

I'm happy you enjoyed the update. It's always nice to think about the characters grown up. They have their differences, but at the end of the day they're still the same people! Thanks for your understanding, and for reading my stories! I'm glad you've enjoyed them so far, hopefully they only get better as time goes on!

Thank you for your understanding! Glad I could help expand on the ending for you guys!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's certainly a very different side of Riley!

-- To all my readers, I'm sorry for not being as present on GA as I want to be. For those who don't know, I'm a first year grad student and although I enjoy what I study, the adjustment has been challenging. Make no mistake, writing is still one of my biggest passions, however due to school I've been unable devote the time and effort I believe stories deserve. Due to this, this will be my last story update until the week of May 20th. I apologize if that decisions upsets anyone, but

Chapter 32: Used As Dizzy held me on the couch I could tell Adam’s words were starting to get to him. With every passing second he seemed to grow more and more anxious, until finally he let out a deep sigh. “What are you looking for with Ezra?” He asked, but I didn’t answer. “I’m not judging you, I just, I want to know where you’re coming from.” I stayed quiet for a few more moments before finally looking up to him. “He’s my birth father.” I forced out. “I just want to meet him, even

Thank you, your work is what's part of making it a great chapter!

Thank you for sharing your story! I'm sure at times that was hard to go through, so I'm sure you can relate a lot to Artie. Plus it sounds like you were blessed with a loving family, like he has found.
-
I agree, especially since his mother would never tell him about Ezra growing up. That curiosity would kill me.
-
I agree, personally I could never leave that door shut. Even if I tried to, it'd always be in the back of my mind.
-
Especially considering Ezra grew up in the same time as Adam and Sarah. For Ezra to take care of Sarah, it most likely would mean leaving his family for good. It doesn't justify his choices, but sometimes it takes a while to find the balls to leave your family.
-
He's certainly come a long way since Artie first moved to San Francisco. Especially when it comes to being more of a parent than a friend. Thank you! Next chapter will be out within the hour

I agree, people can change. Especially when it comes to doing the best thing for their child. Hopefully that's all he has in mind.
-
I agree, I think Adam demanded it from Ezra and will have his lawyer be in contact later in the week. One of the ways abandonment is established is by leaving a child with no communication or child support. So a court would likely rule Ezra abandoned Artie, but I think Adam just wants peace of mind knowing Ezra terminated his rights.
-
Especially with how oddly he introduced himself. A normal person would reach out to the guardian and not just approach a minor like that.
-
I feel the same. Although from Adam's perspective it's frustrating to feel so strongly against someone, and still have a person you love want to meet them.

Prices do always seem to be popular

Chapter 31: Spooked As Adam laid back and watched T.V., I couldn’t help but keep looking over at him. Does he even have a strict side? Could he ever actually stay mad at me? I mean, I’ve seen him panicked, but never really angry. Even at the court case and reading of Mom’s will, I could feel his anger against his parents, but he never really let it show. So if I know he’s this relaxed, why am I still hiding Ezra’s card from him? Why don’t I want his advice on this? I went to say somethin

Chapter 30: Knuckleheads I don’t know if Sadie could’ve predicted just how much laying under those stars again meant to me. It’s one of the last memories I have with my Mom, something I’ve thought about everyday since her passing. You might think that would make me sad, but being back here with so many people I love, it’s helping me heal that wound. I know Adam’s seen this before, but the look on his face showed just how long it’s been and Dizzy, well he seemed mesmerized. The quiet Texa

Thank you! I was worried the length of the chapter would throw it off, but I'm glad it worked out!
-
His introduction was definitely odd enough to support this idea. I'm pretty sure I would've just walked away if I was Artie!
-
😂 He probably should have!
-
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm about to past the next chapter within the hour, so hopefully the wait wasn't too bad!

You can really see the love she has for him. It's nice to see love finally overcome hate in that town.
