  1. What do you think? Read the comment I wrote after you mentioned be christened!
  2. The Music of Norway I was starting to really like being in Norway and some Norwegians. Back in the room we used I was thinking. “Can’t you take a break from all that thinking you do?” Vincent asked closing the door behind us. Turning to him, I smirked. “I can’t help it!” I tapped my forehead, “I’ve got a lot to think about.” Vincent nodded and came over and put his arms around me, “Okay, just don’t burn your brain out.” He kissed my
  3. New Year’s Eve Part Two In Mike’s and my bedroom, I looked at my phone. I couldn’t just assume Ray had nothing better to do that speak to me. Being retired did not mean he wasn’t busy. It was still part of the holiday season even if Christmas was over. Then again, I knew of other denominations and Christian religions started their Christmas on Christmas Day! The song “The Twelve Days if Christmas” told you that. This was the second day of Christmas and Two Turtle Doves
  4. Yes, I'm very familiar with that Rite of Passage. Other than tending to the wounded, I get christened. And it wasn't even my son!! Many of the young recruits were barely out of diapers, or nappies, themselves. They'd never babysat. Yet, their young wife had the child and didn't know what to do with this...thing. I held a class for young new fathers! Lesson one. Don't handle them so delicately you drop them. Babies won't break! Gender does have an effect. Men try to be so delicate with their daughters. They'd see me pick up their child and I had the baby securely and did what I needed to, wash, change, burp or feed. A trick I used was sitting the baby on my knee when I burped them. Holding securely, but patted. If they threw up, and they did often enough, it went on the floor! Not you or them! Feeding. A guy heard I gave his wife lessons on getting babies to latch on when breastfeeding. Keeping the baby awake as it feeds. I was tempted to tell the guy she had nothing to worry about. He on the other hand... You learn how to do what's needed.

I have to disagree. The numbers told me what was happening. Makarovia and Cinderfella 3, I was lucky to get a hundred in a few days. With this and the other I'm writing now, I get three hundred in a DAY!! Cinderfella 3 got a little preachy, I know that. This one won't. The world is round and two and two make four. That is proven with evidence. So was the response I got, but I'm good now! My Muse, Bubba, is yammering nonstop! That's more proof. I need my fix.
  6. Getting Ready for Parenthood Harald turned out to be a nice guy! He was somewhat reserved, but it was clear he loved Angelica. He was charming! He had this boyish smile and this way about himself that wasn’t aggressive. He was adorable! Yes, I had Vincent and there was no way in Hell I would give him up. We worked to hard to get where we were. I’m just saying I can see the attraction. He didn’t look old enough to shave! My Indian cousin did like nearly all Indians in America
  7. WHAT DID I DO?? Oliver, don't get it twisted. (See what I did there? Oliver Twist? Ha, ha, right?) All I did was post a chapter. LGBT parents are just as good or bad as any parent. I'll send you the identity of who the character is privately. No one questioned me about Gomer.

You, too? I did marry marry the real Susan. It nearly killed me. Daily headaches, high blood pressure and I had a series of mini-strokes I didn't know about until a couple of years later. I felt so much grief for asking to marry me. Everyone expected me to do that. It made me sick! She didn't deserve that. It took a while to find the right one. That's why I started writing. Love is so important. Passion and lust is great, but allow yourself to experience more. Love is a gift and no one should be alone. Congratulations for the forty years.

Get one. There are plenty out there. When I lived a while in Fort Worth (Carswell Air Force Base) I went to a gay rodeo. Do you catch the theme of my writing? Royalty and Cowboys are my favorite! As promised, back to a story that has both! Royalty and a Cowboy!
  10. New Year’s Eve Part One The holiday ended and we were preparing to fly back to Atlanta to drop off Avi and Eli. Chet was happy to be going home, but he became sullen when he realized we were dropping off Avi and Eli. We were waiting for our plane to be called for boarding. There were a lot people traveling the day after Christmas. There was the hum of many people talking and waiting for their flights. There weren’t that many seats left, so we stood. It wouldn’t be long
  11. Hi, Kev!! Yes, girls can de harder to raise than boys. Nothing against the gender, but I knew plenty of parents that wore out the carpets in worry. Daniel had three sons and the middle son...well, he operated with his own rules and some were not good at all. He didn't censor what he said. He was always getting in trouble! Daniel told me about many times the police brought him home as a teenager. The world is lucky he didn't turn to violent crime! You may or may not know I had to legally evict him from my home after Daniel died. I struggled with that! I was going through Hell and his mouth! It had nothing to do with his Dad and I being gay. He didn't care about that. It was HIM! He never helped. He was freeloading, which I really didn't mind. Really! But things he said to others about me. I had enough. I PUT HIM THROUGH SCHOOL!! Not Daniel and me, from me! Daniel was going through his treatments for the cancer. I used what inheritance I got from my parents. He had to go. By the way, "I reckon..."? Do British People reckon? That's very Southern Yank. BRAVO!!
  12. 3 Guys, a Girl and a Baby What can I say? Angelica was fine with the idea of me being her child’s life. Talking to her, I found out she smart. Very smart. She was fine with the idea of Vincent and me being in love and involved with each other. It wasn’t the most ideal situation, but it gave her a way out. She and Harald didn’t have to breakup. What was clear to me was neither would Vincent and myself. What were we all doing the was so…horrible? Love? Vincent and I fell in l

    Let's Go Home

Yep, you found me out. I am going to write it again. Soon. As you know, things have been challenging for me recently. I really tried to keep my husband alive for me and I wrote like a maniac. It was desperate attempt on my part and then my vision problems...I'm better. I am not as desperate to put out stories and chapters. I have grown and my writing style has grown. You've seen me say it, a story doesn't end. I'm being more careful with my chapters. I still miss Daniel every day, but the ache has changed. Besides, Eric has the New Year's Eve appearance and the movie to do. New songs to perform are percolating in my head. Adversity is part of life, but having support as you go through it is a major boon! I'm showing the struggle to get the world to see us as people. This is my "Don't Tell Me Who To Love." Sunday, I will again post a chapter for Prince Vincent and then I will again write one for I've Always Loved You. Thank you.

    Norway

Yes, I saw it. It's not ugly. Castles were often fortresses. A palace is different. At the time it was built, I'm sure they did their best. Remember Makarovia's Fortress and Palace? (Yes, I'll write it again. I ain't done! You guys left me. I needed my response fix. I got it back!) If they don't like it, build a new one!

    Norway

I was tempted to comment, but decided against it. Some smart people would know what I mean if I don't say. So, I tell you I won't, just to torment you. I'm evil that way.
  16. Norway There was a road that went up Denmark’s border that stretched up the coast of Sweden. That route would take too long even on a fast horse. Trains would be quicker, but the fastest would be by boat. The Dannebrog II would not be used this time. There were other smaller boats that could cut across the North Sea. Although only on the eastern edge of the North Sea. The body of water just off Copenhagen was called Kattegat. It wasn’t strictly a bay as it was a small sea t

    Going Back

One more time, "That's why I write!" See the comment above this one. And its 5:30am!! Why are you up? Yea, yea...across the pond it's later. I know. Well, my kawffee waiting and Norway awaits. (Remember? Kawffee is New York's pronunciation for coffee.) Later!!

    Going Back

The trick has been to be careful not to mention things that hadn't been invented or discovered yet. I wrote about a time where DNA is known to exist, but not how or what. This was a time when technology and science were about to EXPLODE!! I love this period.
  19. Going Back The new Dannebrog sounded and felt different. The engines were started and the tugboats withdrew. The other Dannebrog had engines, but also masts if they needed to use sails. This Dannebrog didn’t have masts. Wind or no wind this ship would get to its destination. The transoceanic passage was being pushed forward to get a ship that would get there faster and faster. I had seen designs and proposals for new ships, most of which were unproven to work even as a prot

    The Wedding

I considered it several times. The story was really about winning the Lottery. That the main character is gay added to the stories depth. How did the Super-Powerball change him and how did effect those close to him? A story doesn't just end. I remember leaving movies when a child and asked "Then what happen?" Even then I knew there is always something more.

    Washington

How he is to fulfill his job he knows. Having dinner with the President and First Lady his duties were explained. A lot of people don't know what an Ambassador does. There are the frequent reports and letters to the President. He will be expanding knowledge of America for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland. He speaks two Scandinavian languages and Scandinavian is the root language for all of them. (I wasn't kidding when I said Icelandic was more difficult.) Treaties and trade will be included. David is a Cambridge University graduate. He knows how to write briefs and papers. A letter to the President would be simple. Much of the job will be learned while doing it. His staff at the American Consulate will help him know what he can and can't do. David will listen, but will often NOT do was he's asked. He never did. Learning politics he learned from his father, the Queen of England and the King and Queen of Denmark. He won't do it alone.
  22. Washington The train station was bigger than most. There two trains here with a wide, covered walkway between them. Passengers were getting off the train as porters were taking the luggage off. Not ours. The private train car had luggage that would go to the hotel, but most of it would be taken off by the crew of the Dannebrog would come to take the remaining luggage after it was detached from the train. Vincent had rented it from New York and it would be returned to New Yo

    American Pride

Too late. I got the first one on the 8th of this month. The second will be next month, again on the 8th. The first one made my left arm sore and I couldn't lie on that side. (I sleep on my right side normally.) I did throw up twelve hours after the injection, but the nausea went away in twenty-four hours. I hardly ever leave the house! I can't see well? I can hardly wait for the second shot. (Sarcasm again.) I dodged the virus bullet twice that came with Cindy and Andy, my housemates. Medical training helped me not to get sick. Now, busy, busy, busy!! I'm now in Washington, DC and it's 1893. Christmas time! Dinner with President Cleveland at the White House. Busy, busy, busy!!!

I you never went to Copenhagen you could never be in Denmark. Duh. Just kidding you. (Or am I?) I missed you!! Your loving this story is my aim. I love you, too!!
  25. American Pride The hotel was nice and comfortable. It didn’t have the polish the ones in Europe did. My room at the ranch wasn’t fancy and small compared to the one in Copenhagen. It was too late in the day; early evening to go to the capitol. We’d have to do it the following morning. I would send the President my acceptance by telegram. There was also the telephone, but even with the crisscrossing lines sometimes you had the call of more importance, but line
