Morals “I've gotten a commonality with our friends.” I smiled with a nod. Peter smiled. “Okay, what is it?” “They all do something they love.” I pointed out. “Boris and Henri love to cook.” I waved at the direction Luke went. “He loves the sea. Pano loves Edger, Barry, and Big. None are stressed about work. There could be problems personally, but they aren't stressed.” There were a lot of people who dreaded going to work daily. They just had jobs. They had to do it to

Last Stop Henri deserved more credit than we could give him. He really touched and you saw it in his face. We did appreciate all of the crew, Captain Agius, Earl, Gretchen, and Anita. Gretchen was good and did a hell of a job. Gretchen called her Nita. Nita was shyer than Gretchen. It was an interesting pattern I saw. All of the crew excelled at being invisible. The Captain rarely left the bridge except for meals with the crew in the Mess (the crew dining area?). The Count

Catching Our Breath
R. Eric posted new chapter in Makarovia! Yes, I Know Where That is! Sophomore Year
Catching Our Breath The purpose for neoprene is insulation. They can look very sharp now. I wore one that was dark blue but had yellow lightning bolts on it. The water was not cold, but keeping heart and lungs protected was why I put one on. Still, I was a nicely dressed diver. I never dive without wearing one even in warm waters. It did also add some buoyancy. I did have to be peeled out the wet-suit to save Gretchen or whomever to clean up the water on the floor. It was a wet-- 11 comments

I made a change on one. I'm tired from writing since this morning before sun up. I need a break. I'll try again in a few hours.

I looked! I know I'm practically blind now, but I still couldn't "see" it. Yuri's and the others said the exact thing! The same words. I'm really beginning to hate this chapter.

Where???

No, my computer is always on. It hadn't gone to sleep either.

Don't apologize. I love feedback. I'm a little envious of you. To be somewhere you have to speak more than one language. I accidentally gave my computer a glass of tea. He didn't like it. That was just before Christmas. He was out of town and works another job. He's getting to it. I am just trying to jinx it now. I am not through.

I must be dense. I don't see it. Yuri was using English to explain stating again to be sure he's understood. His first language was Russian. He speaks Makarovian, but this time spoke English. I have friends that do it now. Say a sentence, then say it again slower as if that helps. I know he spoke of seeing the evidence twice to help explain his reasoning. Am I still missing it?

That is the drama I was talking about! I had the chapter ready T before yesterday. I proof-read and proof-read. This...lovely...computer I use duplicates, deletes whole sections when it damned well wants to. I'm glad to have it. (Atoning to the Computer Deity.) I have read and read it so many times I can't see it. Sorry.

Trying to Make Sense
R. Eric posted new chapter in Makarovia! Yes, I Know Where That is! Sophomore Year
Trying to Make Sense We spent what was left of the morning and most of the afternoon searching the black hull. It wasn't a deep dive. We were just a few feet underwater. If it was more you had to consider the pressure of the air in your lungs. An inflated balloon lowered in the water would seem to lose air. It didn't. The pressure around the balloon makes it shrink. Go back to the surface and it will return to what it was. The opposite was true about filling that balloon up to wha- 18 comments

I had a lapse. I pointed it out when reading Chaucer and others in old English. It reads and sounds German. I am pooped. My computer is being worked on now. I'd tell you the drama I've had, but...type on one, post on another. I am a low wattage drama enthusiast. I will live just fine with out some. My poor computer...opened for repairs. I hear the beep of a heart monitor going. Save him, Doc!

Looking For Answers
R. Eric posted new chapter in Makarovia! Yes, I Know Where That is! Sophomore Year
Looking For Answers Yuri was still walking away. Boris passed by me in a run and grabbed his husband and clutched Yuri against him. In what I saw and felt, this was a moment between husbands. My worry was that I had done what I was afraid I might do and pushed Yuri too hard. I stopped. My knowing any answers now wasn't important, so I turned to go back to the agents. "Please, stay, Your Highness," Boris asked me quietly and very seriously. It wasn't a full formal address, but more- 4 comments

Yo, Ho, Ho and a Bottle of Rum
R. Eric commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Yo, Ho, Ho and a Bottle of Rum
Oh. I'm answering that question soon. In the next few paragraphs of the next chapter. You'll find out. It is a cliffhanger. -

Yeah, yeah. I am just so tickled about that. I'll change it. We don't want anyone else stepping in it. -

Yo, Ho, Ho and a Bottle of Rum
R. Eric posted new chapter in Makarovia! Yes, I Know Where That is! Sophomore Year
Yo, Ho, Ho and a Bottle of Rum It was a nice dinner. Even with his comedic antics, Henri left us pretty much alone. When he came out with two plates that had some very large lobster shells on them sending up steam. I will admit a part of me that reacted so much in favor of it, had lowered the flags in his hands and gave much weaker, “Yah.” Less enthusiastically than the first ones. I sniffed the air. It didn't smell right. I could smell the onions, garlic, bacon, and jalapenos.- 14 comments

Want a Lift? Cosmo was joking, but I wondered that myself in the beginning. He could seem cold or without emotions or compassion. I now knew that wasn't true. He did it because of what he was asked to do. I suddenly got a slight epiphany! Could it be that simple? No. However, it did make sense. "What?" Peter asked me as he ate his one omelet. He didn't know what it was, but he saw it on my face. Yep, I had no poker face at all with Peter so I just went with it. "He's not just protecting us

Sorry, I was doing something else. Now, I'm writing again and listening to Abba. Mamma Mia! I remember wanting something as a child and remembered what she did. Spaghetti-Os. house didn't burn down. I was five. I got fussed at for using the stove alone with Dad outside and congratulated for not leaving a mess. I learned I could add things and it better. I could make brownies, cookies and simple meals at eight. I made Thanksgiving Dinner at twelve. Complete with Green Bean Casserole, Biscuits and Chocolate Pie, Sour Cream Pie and Mock Apple Pie! Dressing and all that! Then I married Daniel who did it even better. Almost.

There. Coffee fixed and I'm ready for another day of writing. (I sigh with contentment.) No. It isn't, but Eric showed a side they didn't know was there. Henri is male and Boris is male and phenomenal in the kitchen. Eric never showed them what he could do as a person that served, not being served. To just come in and show he could do it and very well showed he could and use what's there easily and quickly...told he'd done it for a while. They weren't ready for a prince that functioned so confidently independent. And the whole Hunter/Gatherer element there was still a big part of society even in Makarovia. I could go on, but I have a situation to explain with Yuri. People are waiting.

Leaving Malta I was being honest with what I said about the fear. A little fear would help me stay focused when on task. I wasn't afraid of people. God, no. I believe grandma passed that along with all the other things with her many words of wisdom. She told me she felt it, too. Every single time before she went out on stage she told me she had fear. In her situation these people came to see a good performance. The fear that she would miss a step or lose count of steps she needed to do
