Okay, that was relevant...sort of. Grandmother's explanation was just to point out how we were different. Do they look up know what the sun is? Curiosity pretty important. It sets us apart. Colin and I went up to the place they gathered for more information on V5H and this whole vampire…mess. They gathered and talked about…whatever medical science people talk about together. They talked about findings made and how changing the chemical processing of the various ingredients that went into making the serum helped it work better. Colin and I were notified that the Old One was being transported from the airport by helicopter. The plane had landed at a small private airport. Were we breaking laws? I know we were. Daniel had a fit me making him a slave owner. Italians? "We hadn't gotten here yet!" He tells me. "Ellis Island?" Colin's perspective changed with his first love. I was in denial. I tried so hard to keep him here. A battle I couldn't win. I still hurt very much. Even toward the end, I knew somehow, he'd live. When he died. I was shocked! I know about emotional protection and the things we do to remain sane. I knew what I was doing, but helpless to stop it. Writing is cathartic for me. It keeps my mind busy and I do remember him better. Daniel is gone. I can't bring him back. I remember him. I think about him when I wake up and is my last thought of the day. I miss him so much. Something I just needed to realize will be until I die. He was a good, good man. He has no equal. He made the years we had together special for me. I have memories. I'll never lose them or Daniel.

We met with our family here at the VUN except for George and John who was with our new guests who were being shown more about Repetate and Iustina…and about Colin and me. We couldn’t take our people to Vamps, the doctors and scientists would be there. Why end your rant? And why whisper this? Say it PROUDLY. I go on about not being attracted to blondes...the truth is...I still remember one. He was GORGEOUS!! And blonde! I only knew him a week, but he was marrying a friend and I wasn't gay yet and she might have objected. Muscular and HAIRY! His hair was almost white it was so blonde. He was in his thirties. This was in the 1980s, but he was the first blonde man that gave me an erection immediately. I mean hairy, not just scattered. The thoughts of my fingers in that whitish jungle! We got up and I got to see more of this museum George called home. It did look like a monument inside. There were no personal touches that said…George or John lived here.
