  1. Thanks for taking a chance on me again!!! I've totally learned my lesson with Push and Pull--I will never post a story without a HEA ever again.
  2. Thanks!! I'm working on the sequel to Push and Pull, so that will be up next... soon... hopefully... promise!
  3. Gah! I'm so sorry about Push and Pull. I'm still miffed at myself about that and yes, I'm still working on getting that HEA for Ryan and Erik. Thanks for trusting me with Stepping Out!
  4. Every once in a while I'll come across a prompt and Andy and Marcus knock on my brain and are like, "Excuse us, we'll take this one, thanks."
  5. Thanks!! Yeah, I think Andy needed to be the proactive one with this
  6. Thank you so much for reading and sticking with the story through all those ups and downs!
  7. Thank you so much!!!
  8. True! I don't think I could put these two through anymore emotional torture. I don't think I could put myself through anymore emotional torture to write it!
  9. Aw... thanks!! I've said this before, but I love making people cry. Sorry for being evil!
  10. Thanks!!
  11. Haha, in my experience, religious couples tend to get married very quickly rather than date for years and years. I grew up in an evangelical christian tradition and sex before marriage was a big no-no. So people got married quickly so they could jump into bed! Not that that necessarily applies with Andy and Marcus since they've already been in bed, but bringing their relationship under the sanctity of marriage is important to him.
  12. Aw, thanks so much! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to hear your reaction to my posting new chapters! Life is definitely so messy, and I'm so glad that came across in this chapter. Thanks again!!
  13. Thanks for sticking with me through to the end!! And yeah, I always thought Marcus would be the one to propose, too. But then, marriage is more important to Andy than Marcus, so it made sense that Andy would want the sanctity of marriage over their relationship.
  14. Everyone loves weddings, right?!
  15. Thanks, Lisa!!!
  16. Thanks for mentioning this!! I've been trying to keep track of when people comment on my stories and checking every page is NOT efficient Like what most people have said, I usually write for myself. Sometimes there's an idea or question I want to explore or I use writing as a therapeutic exercise to work through something I'm struggling with. I find writing quite cathartic. Recently, I've been writing for specific submission calls, so I've had to write around the requirements of other people. Even then, I was only able to write those stories because they were in line with something I already wanted to write.
  17. I don't think I've ever gotten any negative comments or feedback on GA or the other site where I post. I'm super grateful to all the people who read my stories, and especially grateful for those who take the time to leave a comment. I know they definitely don't have to. But... I did get one comment that I felt was inappropriate because it referenced something religious that I felt was intolerant--weird because that story had nothing to do with religion. I didn't respond to the comment (even though I usually respond to all comments), because I didn't know what to say. I thought about reporting it to GA admin, but wasn't sure if that was appropriate either...
  18. I LOVED Encyclopedia Brown! I was just thinking about it the other day, oddly, hehe. I trained myself to read the "solution" page without using the mirror because I thought that made me smarter! And I'm also a fellow Narnian--loved those books. Also loved the Boxcar Children and the Babysitters' Club. I seemed to have like those mystery stories, although my stories now are definitely not mystery. I got into Harlequin romances in grade 8. It feels like I jumped from kids books straight to romance novels... yikes! My writing now is definitely more steamy romance than kid-friendly!
  19. I've definitely seen some stories with teenagers acting like adults. But then, I sometimes get annoyed with teenage characters who act like teenagers... I just want to tell them, "No! Don't do that! You'll regret it later!" hehe. I don't usually write teenagers. I've always been more mature than my age and never really understood young people (even when I was a young person myself). Kudos to those who can do it well!
  20. Thank you!!
  21. Andy is a deeply closeted priest who has lived his life denying his sexuality. But after a rogue night with Marcus, indulging in long buried temptations, Andy can no longer ignore the truth about who he is. Can he come to terms with his sexuality without abandoning his faith? Will Marcus stick around while Andy learns what it means to be a gay Catholic?
  22. Marcus’ heart was beating so fast that he thought it would pop right out of his chest. Then Andy squeezed his hand tightly, and Marcus immediately felt his nerves settle. He sneaked a peek at the man he loved out of the corner of his eye. It had been two years almost to the day that Andy had confessed everything in the middle of Central Park. Two years of laughter and tears, of triumphant moments and infuriating arguments. Life was messy, but Marcus was glad that he was sharing his mess wi
  23. That sounds super cool!!! I'll have to go look that up!!
  24. “Stop fidgeting.” Marcus reached over to grasp Andy’s hand. Andy looked down to see their fingers intertwined. The sight never failed to make his heart swell. “I’m nervous.” He squeezed back. “I’ve never done this before.” “Oh, right, I keep forgetting.” Andy shot Marcus a good-natured glare. “Don’t worry!” Marcus laughed. “She’s going to love you.” “She hates me.” Marcus looked like he was going to dispute Andy’s statement but then stopped himself. “She’ll c
