Thanks, John! Andy is Catholic, but I believe that many people in other religious traditions have similar struggles. I come from an evangelical tradition and spent some time reconciling the religious teachings with the reality of homosexuality. I don't think they're in conflict. Unfortunately, some people disagree with me.
Gah! I'm so sorry about Push and Pull. I'm still miffed at myself about that and yes, I'm still working on getting that HEA for Ryan and Erik.
Thanks for trusting me with Stepping Out!
True! I don't think I could put these two through anymore emotional torture. I don't think I could put myself through anymore emotional torture to write it!
Haha, in my experience, religious couples tend to get married very quickly rather than date for years and years. I grew up in an evangelical christian tradition and sex before marriage was a big no-no. So people got married quickly so they could jump into bed! Not that that necessarily applies with Andy and Marcus since they've already been in bed, but bringing their relationship under the sanctity of marriage is important to him.
Aw, thanks so much! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to hear your reaction to my posting new chapters! Life is definitely so messy, and I'm so glad that came across in this chapter. Thanks again!!
Thanks for sticking with me through to the end!! And yeah, I always thought Marcus would be the one to propose, too. But then, marriage is more important to Andy than Marcus, so it made sense that Andy would want the sanctity of marriage over their relationship.
