Oh my gosh, yes, THANK you! I can hardly EVER find people to Tank - I always support people who do it on their own. It's so important in Overwatch, and sorely overlooked. I salute you. Oh jeez, it IS kinda like Halo. I'd love to see you in stream! I'm on Mondays and Wednesdays after 6pm Pacific, and Sundays after 11am. Can't wait!

Those are all really good suggestions! I've heard of The Left Hand of Darkness, but nobody's explained it in a way that made me want to read it until you! And I will most definitely be checking out Ian M. Banks - that story sounds great. Good suggestion with the James Tiptree award, too. I'll keep an eye on that. Thanks so much everybody! I'm a sucker for games with a really gripping story. Something that makes me think about it for days, months, sometimes YEARS after my first play-through. For me, that means: The Bioshock franchise The Fallout franchise Mass Effect Seriously, those games have excellent narratives, and deal with some pretty challenging stuff sometimes (Bioshock especially).

Oh my god, did somebody say Overwatch?! I love this damn game, been playing it for almost a year now. SUPER cool that they added the LGBT backstory for Tracer (yay for representation!). And totally, McCree is bae. I used to main supports, Zen/Mercy/Ana (in that order), but lately I've been playing a LOT of McCree and Sombra. I stream Overwatch gameplay all the time, if anybody is curious to see what a typical match looks like. Link is in the signature.

Hi everybody! So, this seems like a really good crowd to ask for recommendations. Does anybody here happen to know of any good Sci-Fi stories involving trans characters? I love the genre, especially the works of Philip K. Dick (A Scanner Darkly, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, The Man in the High Castle), which sometimes lean a little toward the cyberpunk side of things. I'm a trans woman, and I think it would just be the coolest thing to read a story that had a character I could identify with on that level. Thanks everyone! <3

Hey there! I love LGBT streamers, and I've got some suggestions: Dragunair is a cool trans woman streamer - she does a lot of league of legends, and she's really energetic and fun to watch. KittyKathee is a pro Overwatch player who is also a trans woman. She's super cool, mains supports, and has aim for days. She's french, so unless you speak french, the dialogue may escape you. But she's fun to watch regardless. Also, hey, shameless plug incoming, but I'm a trans woman who streams games on Twitch. I've got a schedule and a growing community of fresh faces all the time. I play mostly Overwatch, but I branch out occasionally when I get a new game. My channel is called the Nikatine Stream.
