Hey, thank you. You're really sweet (no pun intended, I just now noticed your nickname, :))). I'm not taking it personal; don't worry. Although I must say that it feels a bit strange to admit that the way you see Klaus is correct. And, as his mother/creator (he, he), that's a bit tough. Nonetheless, don't hesitate to post your comments. It really makes my day to observe how people see my story, how they react to it, and how they envision the characters. It is the kind of insight any author craves, I think. So thanks a lot, and lots of hugs. Laura.

Thanks a lot for the comment! You are so spot on regarding Hans. I do not just throw him in as a span in the works, and he will have a role to play, even if it will only be episodic, so to speak. And I quite like your characterization of Klaus. He is far from being perfect, and that, even if he might have something to object, makes him just a human being, like the rest.
-
And that's how you know, as the author, that you have become predictable, he, he. You are completely right, my friend.
-
Thanks for reading and commenting! Klaus does thinks that, indeed. For now.

Hey, Wesley, thanks so much for being such a consistent commenter! As for how hot things are going to get, I feel like I must warn you that this is just the beginning.

Chapter Eight Jake flipped nervously through the magazine left on the nightstand. It was all in German, and he could not understand squat. He sighed and buried his head in the crook of his elbows. Then he stretched, enjoying the fluffiness of the sheets. “Nice view,” he heard Klaus calling from behind and straightened up immediately. “Who’s childish now?” he went for a frontal attack. “The door is locked.” “Of course it is. You have the bad habit to stray,” Klaus smiled.

And that, my friend, it's a pretty cool premonition

KYAAA! I love this comment so so so much! Jake is such a tiny little rabbit, and Klaus is like the big bad wolf! :)) But a sexy one, that's for sure! Well, it may seem like Jake doesn't stand a chance right now, but we'll see

Thank a lot, Lisa! Yes, I wanted to pit the guys a little against one another, because what is life without a little conflict? And Klaus does have an understanding of Jake's situation, seeing that he is more involved. As for what Hans is going to do ... You will just have to read further to see what's happening next. But I liked your little clever idea :))

He, he, Wesley, you're so naughty! I sign you up for Klaus's team, then. And I thought everyone loved Jake more.

He should have felt like he didn’t belong, but, in truth, Jake was a bit proud, if only inwardly, of how good he looked. The casual clothes he was wearing were not a suit, but they weren’t his usual jeans and t-shirt either. Klaus had great taste in clothing and Jake was not regretting a bit, seeing the vaguely surprised look in Hans’s eyes, when he made his entrance. Maybe he was not just a mutt, after all. Plus, the visit to the doctor, earlier that day, had not been so bad. It looked like he

Thanks a lot for your interest! I update every week, just so you know.
-
Thanks a lot! Yes, Jake is interesting alright.

It was a nice surprise for me, too, since it usually took a bit longer for the post to get approved. Don't worry about Jake, though. He's a big boy, and he knows well what he's doing. And, yes, more and more questions will get answered as the story progresses. Thanks a lot for reading and commenting!

They went straight to Klaus’s room once they were back. Jake didn’t even question why he was not yet allowed to go to his room. Actually, he was unnerved by his ability to just obey the man without putting too much of a fight. He wasn’t scared enough, apparently, and that was something Jake thought he was going to regret sooner or later. This time, Jake tried to play the stoic and not look at the blond, as he undressed. Klaus left Jake to his own thoughts, while he took a short shower. It

I know that it looks like Jake is this way and out of proportions ... but, I hope that once the entire picture is complete, and all the characters will have their "why's" explained, it will all be much clearer. Thanks a lot for liking my story and for taking the time to write a comment!

definitely :))

He sure is

They will get even hotter! I promise!

Chapter Five Jake was getting restless. There was no TV or other means of entertainment he could use while waiting for that annoying bastard. He had a mind to just get out of the house, but he didn’t want Klaus to chase him down from the first day. There was enough time to observe his surroundings later. For now, he had to admit he was very curious about this insanely rich guy, at least by his standards, and his unusual interest in someone like him. The door finally opened, Klaus comin

Thanks a lot for the insightful comment. Some of the things you said are spot on, but I'm not going to say which, so I don't spoil it. (Anyhow, I must say that you're a bit of a mind reader ...)
-
You are correct, my friend. Each one has his own demons to deal with. Hans has his place in the story, albeit not a very substantial one, as you will see.
-
I love this! So nicely said! Thank you!

Hans does know Klaus for a long time, it is true. And I did make him sound haughty and annoying, I admit it. Thank you for taking the time to write a comment!

He, he, he does seem like that. But don't worry, he's not that bad. Thanks for this funny comment. I was lucky to put the water cup I was drinking from before reading the comment, or my keyboard would have taken an instant shower. :))
