Up until this past week, this was the hardest chapter I'd ever written. Cassie-she is probably the strongest (mentally and emotionally) character I've written. Definitely one of my favorites. The gurl is made of steel. (And a whole lotta snark and sarcasm, part natural and part defense mechanism) I love your impression of Lex and his way of handling his abuse. Everyone deals with it differently and I'm glad you understood where he was coming from. Ian. Honestly, the way I hear his voice, it's a wonder I got through this story at all. 🔥 😊

There's also the faux pas of all sentences which is the run on, often indicated by multiple commas, trying to connect multiple thoughts, but by using too many conjunctions to connect those thoughts, thereby becoming much too long, with no end in sight, and usually rambling because the writer keeps going on and on and loses control of the sentence. Whew.

Thank you! You might want to invest in full on body restraints to strap in for the next story. It's coming along quite nicely, if I do say so!😉

It sometimes takes some trial and error. My Doc upped my blood pressure dosage again because it just can't decide on it's own what it wants to do. At least now that I'm on the highest dose of lisinopril I can self monitor every day and will only need to go back in if it decides to stay high. I lucked out on cholesterol. Only slightly higher than it should be and the "good" stuff is where it should be. Tweaking the diet again should tame that beast. Hope everyone has a good weekend coming up.

It's the worst when you find out it's a family member. Especially one who's a "fine, upstanding member of society". Not to mention the "golden child" of the family, can do no wrong. Puh-leeze. Deserves to be castrated without anesthesia.
