Thanks for your honest feedback. I'm still working on my writing skills. It's something I do for pure enjoyment. The whole 'showing vs. telling' is one area I've been working on.

Omg... tube socks? Really? Growing up in the 70s with five brothers meant each one had their own specific color. I had to fold them all. To this day I hate matching up socks...lol!
