God I still stand by my comments in the first chapter. Everyone except the kids & Jason are fucked in the head. Now if Layla is lesbian, then it looks like the gay gene is definitely the correction to this family's screwy gene pool. LOL! I'm happy to hear this hasn't concluded! Can't wait for more!

HA! So HOT! Parents & Brother & Sister-in-law are total assholes for they're treatment of Jason! Passing off the pecan pie as her own just proves that!!! If my parents tried that, they'd be excluded too, grandchildren or not. They're behavior is deplorable!!!! At least the kids seemed to have turned out better! The difference in age is not a big deal. There are tons of these relationships that work just fine. It's the mental states that matter, age is always relative! LOL now for chap 2...wonder if my comments will need revising...

I loved this! I agree with you that Scott's side needed to be heard(read?). After reading this, I hope you consider a side story series for Scott. This was so sweet with Ryan & Scott. It would be wonderful to see how there relationship could blossom.

First off I'm sorry for your loss, but I can see how your feeling. He used you, and you felt betrayed, I guess. I think he should have left you some kind note to apologize for using you that way. That's if it was purposeful, and not an accident on his part. I highly doubt that though. I think he should at least have told you the reasons for what he did. Instead he left you with questions and guilt. However, it's possible he might not have been in his right mind. I don't know what happens to the human body or the brain when this kind of thing happens. So maybe it's possible that he wasn't really planning it. I hope I haven't really hurt you or upset you with this comment. I really think you are wonderful storyteller. Rob

I think this was a great beginning! I think of something similar to "Angel" or a kind of enforcer of law or something. Protecting the innocent from the human monster that lurk around us. I hope you come back to this and make a series.

Geesh, it's about time Billy and Brandon got more nookie. It seems like they're never together.

Where's Stevie's adults? Why aren't they helping to get restraining orders from the court. At least he might have something to come back at those bully's if they continue to harass him. Brandon was the first to lie by omission with still meeting up with Stevie, no matter how if it was as friends or not. One last thing, Stevie needs counseling not just Brandon. That goes the same for Jimmy too. Restraining order and counseling.

Nope Jimmy and Brandon are weasels. Brandon is trying to continue two relationships at the same time. You don't just make out with your ex-boyfriend.

I've about had it with Jimmy. I'd prefer a suicide attempt than a Columbine event though. I'm tired of that character, especially since it hasn't been a whole year yet and we're on book 9?!? Geeesh!

I'm getting tired of being frustrated by the main character, Billy. I want to enjoy a story, not be frustrated. I hope this story arc changes soon, or I'll just need to forego this.

Well, even if it's to help Stevie get out of the house, because of the bullies, he should've told Billy. You don't spend time with your ex-boyfriend in lieu of your current boyfriend. I hope that's not what's happening, no matter how good the intentions are, it's still cheating because he kept it a secret.

Billy's mom better reverse course. Being caught by the police for having sex outside of the house is not going to look good. Or maybe he decides to run away. What the hell is her problem. You can't put the genie back into the bottle at this point.

Bobby is only a few orders of wacky as Jimmy. If the relationship is that fragile, then Billy wouldn't be the only threat to him. Any boy would be.

I hope that Jimmy doesn't try to hurt or kill Brandon!

Manic Monday!

Jimmy's scene just brings back all the fear that Brandon has been working to put down or move to the back of his mind. Jimmy is a bit of psycho, which Billy should have realized with the past suicide attempt. Jimmy never heard Billy tell him he wasn't in love with him. He repeated that numerous times to Jimmy at the beginning of their relationship. Unfortunately, like a lot of people in this story, sex and love aren't tied together. It's a very hard concept to understand when your a young.

Yep, you guys are right. That was an excellent chapter!!!!
