    Chapter 38

I agree with Scrubber6620 - Will seems to have 100% confidence in his relationships with his family members and others, regardless of their ages or relationships with him. Where does that come from? Having money? Hanging with others that are also outgoing and confident in their thoughts and actions? He seems to be better at it that they are! Ah hah! I predict Will will see a sterling opportunity to get Jake on a productive, satisfying track, doing something truly valuable - like running the Foundation! Will has already 'sic'd' Jake on the Foundation Board, so it's a natural transition I see. Will is like the boy with a small model railroad setup, that has frequent derailments. He puts the track back together or adds a section to smooth out a curve. Then he carefully puts the engine and cars back on the track and powers them up to continue their journey, giving the boy the pleasure of helping restore order and progress. Excellent writing Mr. Arbour! 👍

    Prologue

When i started reading this tale I noted that the Prologue was dated nearly five full years ago, and thought it SURELY was complete by now. So i was surprised to find I'd 'caught up' to Mr. Arbour, with more to go. I join many others who eagerly await the continuation. Mark, you must be a sailor yourself, and have done a wonderful job of incorporating the sail configurations and handling of the warships in the story. Same for the activities and formalities of courtiers in the several Kingdoms you have Granger involved with. Thank you for the great research and playing it back so skillfully! J B H
  3. Glad you've automated the sorting processes so 'push a button' does a lot of the work. Like others, I appreciate the reports! I find the compilations from the three previous months to have greater validity. Suggest making every report from a 'rolling' prior three months instead of the formal quarterly periods. IE: the bigger the database the better. A comment about your Search engines. to give credit to Nifty, they produce results based on individual words, including from story copy. So one can look for "Frigate" or "Australia" and see everything containing the word in an author's name, story titles, or the stories themselves. Sure there are some extraneous finds, but one is sure to some appropriate listings as well. You say without support from your Premium members you'd have to close G A . If that happened I would be deprived of an important library of reading material. So I will send a new amount shortly. Thanks a lot for providing a sophisticated website that encouragers (and accepts) only well-written materials. J B H
