This display was at Drayton Manor Park in the UK. They are renowned for putting on some of the most advanced displays of pyrotechnics in the UK.

I agree the steward did get off lightly, Max's reaction is understandable and forgivable in my opinion. Your suggested approach for the steward is a far better way for him to deal with matters, causing no embarrassment or offence and certainly no trouble. Let's hope he learns his lesson and remembers it. The Mini Cooper S has always been a popular car. Its starring role in The Italian Job increased its popularity, making it a favourite world-wide. Even I don't know what Stacy has in store for the boys, but I'm sure they will enjoy themselves. I will be having fun with friends and surrounded by about 70 guests as we serve them Christmas Dinner. Wow, that's a huge amount of money, I had heard that they could sell for six figure amounts but that is more than I expected. I recently saw one on a classic car website, the asking price was offers above £80,000 which I thought was a lot.

Thank you for commenting @Anton_Cloche. I can't take all of the credit, @raven1has been a great help, as usual, and polished everything up to make ready for my readers. As Michael said to Liam, he still can't believe it and sometimes thinks it's a dream. I think it's safe to say Charlie and Michael appreciate what has, and is being done for them. What they are doing for Harry they just see as the right thing to do which I think is commendable, I think if they continue to do things for that reason they have got it right. Liam is a fighter, he won't give in until he's walking properly, and no snotty steward will stop him. I think Max losing his temper was understandable, okay maybe a bit OTT, and what most would have done, luckily it didn't get out of hand. Yes, the steward got what he deserved and I think he will be re-educated. Restoring the Mini will be a good thing, it will give Harry a lift to see the car he bought for his son brought to life and working, it will also be a good experience for Charlie and no doubt it will impress a lot of people. As for any consummation, I think it will definitely be off due to lack of space, lol.

I knew you would appreciate seeing progress on the Mini, it does need a lot of work but it could have been worse had it not been kept covered. I understand your comment regarding the brakes, I've used the terminology that I'm used to hearing in the garages I've used here in the UK and amounts to the same thing. I think we've all, or most of us at least, bodged a quick repair from time to time just to get us by, usually till payday, lol. I give you 10 out of 10 for ingenuity. Max wasn't proud of his behaviour, he felt as though he had let Stacy and the boys down, he did apologise to Stacy afterwards. The truth is he reacted in the heat of the moment in Liam's defence as most of us would, but in his anger, he did not cross the line and become violent and had nothing to feel ashamed of. I'm glad that you liked the fair and fireworks display, what I described is one that I saw a while ago and was very impressed. Thank you for commenting Albert your support is appreciated. Despite his rough edges, Max is a fair man with a good sense of right and wrong and will defend anyone who he feels is being unfairly treated. When he has calmed down, Max will even defend this young man's right to learn from his mistake.

The last Max, Stacy and the lads saw of him he was being led away by stewards who looked to be unhappy with him. My guess is he will learn a few good lessons from this experience. One is to be more compassionate and helpful to those with disabilities, another will be to learn how to communicate properly with tact and respect, not like a chavvy hooligan. If he can't learn those lessons he will probably lose his job.

Max would do it again and so would I. Those who want to make life difficult for the disabled need to remember there are more max's in this world. Neither Liam nor Max was going to let the dickhead spoil their night and he didn't, they loved the fireworks. Thanks for commenting Chris.

Thank you for your wonderful and detailed comments, they increase the pleasure of writing and sharing a story. Charlie and Michael's lives have taken a complete 180 degree turn in recent weeks and they are still getting used to it. To quote you;- It is something for us all to remember.

Max is a knight in shining armour, or as Charlie put it in an earlier chapter, a knight in dusty overalls. Bullying of anyone is wrong and to bully someone with a disability is the lowest. Thanks for commenting @donjr101
