Glad you enjoyed the chapter, Brayon! As a reader, I'm much more interested in emotions and how things *feel*, and hopefully that translates in my writing. I guess 'he jammed in his ten-inch penis and fucked me doggy-style' has its purpose, but it's also kinda boring. As for the 'big talk' with mom, you can look forward to that in Chapter 5

I think getting caught 'after' the act is almost worse, in some ways. Hard to argue it's just 'fooling around' when you invite somebody into your bed and fall asleep in their arms. You're right about Harry and Alex, as well. Neither of them lives a perfect life, and they need each other in ways they probably don't yet understand.

You're very cluey, NimirRaj. One of the key themes of this story is going to be Alex learning to live a more 'authentic' life on social media. What's going to happen that forces that authenticity upon him, though? Also, we'll be delving more into just how upset Jennifer is and *why* in the next chapter. You'll also find out whether she knew about Alex's sexuality all along. Stay tuned.

You're not far off in your assessment of Alex, drpaladin. He is, at heart, a lonely boy. A lonely boy with hormones, who saw something that he wanted and then inadvertently caught feelings. Stay tuned, because Alex has some difficult choices ahead.

Hi NimirRaj, I think Harry got over his shyness after Alex said the *exact* right thing on the phone. In that moment, he started to believe there was an emotional aspect to their relationship, and that Alex wasn't just using him to get off. Also, as you're about to learn in Chapter Four, Harry isn't the only one with a mother to worry about ;)

Hi Arran, You're pretty much on-the-money with your character assessments. With regard to the pace, that's actually a plot point in itself. Alex goes after what he wants, Harry's hormones kinda cloud his thinking, but what happens once the initial hormones wear off? What happens when Harry starts to see the reality behind Alex's social media persona? What happens if Alex's relationship status no longer matches the 'straight and available' image that he conveys to girls on Instagram? That's kinda the 'different direction' I'm talking about. This story was gonna be a series of steamy one-shots for Nifty, but now my characters have emotional complexities. I know what I'm going to do with those complexities from a narrative standpoint, I just didn't expect to be going in that direction when I started
