Chapter 25 - Set Loose
James Matthews commented on James Matthews's story chapter in Chapter 25 - Set Loose
I always look forward to your reviews of the current chapter. You never fail to make me laugh, firstly, and sit up and listen, secondly. It's right to point out "animal" was the wrong word as Demon would have suited better. I apologise to all kind, nice and innocent animals. Happy for that to be on the record! We're not sure if Leander Mother knows what happened. We havent seen a peek out of her. Hmmm!?? The rolled up carpet must have been looked at by the police surely, but then what would I know? We'll probably find out more soon -

It is indeed 999. And yeah! Meh, yanks get a bad name sometimes. You're one of the most intelligent and technologically advanced nations in the world. Every town in the world has "one of those" councillors in it! Parallel to that, us Brits probably think we're better than we really are. Did I say probably? take out the probably! -
Chapter 25 - Set Loose
James Matthews posted new chapter in Luke Hanson's Mind & Punishment: A Teen in Despair
Monday 2:03pm - Luke I pulled over to the left of the road and bumped my car up onto the grassy edge. Then, still looking in my mirror and eyeing the carpet hanging out the back of Leander's truck, I stopped. They didn't even push it all the way on. So what was that all about? My mind ran rapidly, speaking to me. After putting the car in reverse, I backed up slowly until I was level with Bear's truck. Seeing the discolouration splattered all over the material, I put my ha- 15 comments

Yeah I was contemplating the same - to be more specific, but I really needed to keep the chapter direction a secret so wrestled with what I could have put which would not have spoilt it. I tried to balance it. I take your feedback though, it was a rough chapter. -

Has anyone listened the song? I'm curious to know if if captured the mood of the chapter and how it spoke about the predicament all parties were in. In my mind it could have been for either Luke, or Leander, depending on what angle you're looking at. It was playing as I wrote this chapter and it hooked me, suddenly making me think, WOW, this is such a moving song to hear while writing these intense scenes. So I added it! PS. It also gave me a great title for the chapter, which sometimes I struggle with hahaha -

You're right Chris, I feel for him too. But getting away before he's seriously injured? I hate to say it, but I think it's beyond seriously injured looking at that carpet in the truck. But never say never? I'll leave it there 😮 Thanks for the comments as always x -

You make an excellent point about Elaine's financial situation and I am surprised other readers have taken so long to mention it. She could be a gold digging Bitch or a God fearing Christian. You just can't tell right now. As usual you find the BEST GiF's Doc! Love it! -

Monday 1:10pm - Luke It was the day the fair was due to leave town. According to the local Newspaper, it had done it's final Sunday night to huge crowds and a twenty minute firework display. The Local MP was there along with the press and everyone was thanking the Sheperd family for bringing to a close another successful year of safe family fun, temporary jobs, and a huge boost to the local town economy. Clyde and his Mother gave a long interview about Scott Sheperd, his legacy and how the

Chapter 23 - Starting Some Resolutions
James Matthews commented on James Matthews's story chapter in Chapter 23 - Starting Some Resolutions
I think Luke is worried about what the after effects will be if he went and saw him. His message mentioned about saying goodbye. I think on that basis only, Luke doesn't want to go. __________ Yeah so the UK law in terms of medical records and data protection. So ( as far as I know) Luke's Dad is okay to go and see the family doctor about his children, but as you said, with him being 18 the doctor would not be allowed to reveal any data or information held on Luke. But he is well within his rights to tell the doctor as much as he wants and ask for advice. The Doctor would be allowed to suggest a therapist for Luke, as the doctor is only working on the information being given to him by Len, not from medical records. This is my understanding. If anyone thinks I am wrong please do stick a comment in. -

Thursday 5:08pm - Luke ONE WEEK LATER.... One week on. One week and one day - that's how long it had been since I left Leander and his Brother Clyde deal with Ben Flowers, my stalker and had driven off home. I'd not heard anything, so I assumed it had been sorted. Yes okay, I was checking the local newspaper Derek read at work for any major headlines about bodies being found in woodland and stuff related. But really I knew deep down Leander would not let his family really kill
