Oh crap. The fact that it's autobiographical has made me appreciate the story more. When the next chapter comes out, I'll be reading the latest chapter of Dan's life. And from what I've read so far, Dan seems like a great person. RIP Dan.

Oh, and did anyone else think Mohinder became HOT this season? Holy cow. When I first saw him w/o his shirt, I nearly fainted. Haha

Warning: There are spoilers in my response. If you haven't yet seen the latest episode or any of the seasons, 1) GO WATCH 'EM! and 2) Don't go any further. .... 1) Who is your favourite hero? -- Nathan Petrelli. Okay, his power sucks. But he is my favorite. 2) Who is the most powerful amongst them? -- Peter Petrelli, obviously. Too powerful, in my opinion. 3) Who would you want to be? -- Peter Petrelli, obviously. He has all the power 4) Who do you think would manifest more hidden abilities? -- Better not be Peter. I think no one should get any more powers. They'll make it more complicated if more people get more powers. 5) Who is the most interesting character? -- Season 1: Nathan Petrelli; Season 2: Adam Monroe a.k.a. Kensei; Season 3: Right now it's Angela Petrelli 6) Would Sylar prevail? Or would there be another "better villain"? -- I'm tired of Sylar. Really. I think he's overrated. I want to know more about the fear guy or the guy who shoots blue flames. Or rather, BRING BACK ADAM MONROE! He was, by far, the best villain on the show. I hope he comes back. 7) Where is Nikki Sanders and Micah Sanders? -- Nikki = dead. Micah...He can die to. I don't think he's necessary. 8) If you were given a chance to write a scene for "Heroes", what plot would you give? -- Someone has to die. It has to be a major character too. One of the biggest problems I had with last season (besides the fact that it was pretty slow), was the introduction of Claire's blood as being able to bring back the dead. After that, I feel that every main character, particularly those Claire cares about, will be invincible because of her blood. In shows like this, where people have super powers and are stronger/better than the average human being, I believe that it would make the show more suspenseful and a lot more interesting, if all these characters were vulnerable to death. Those characters who can never die are boring. One personal qualm I have with the show: WAAAAAY too many characters. Again, another reason why I advocate the death of one or two main characters. Kill off Parkman. He's worthless. And what was up with him painting the future in the last episode? There needs to be conflict between Ando and Hiro, and I'm glad that the season seems to be headed in that direction. Hiro should kill off Ando. Now THAT would be interesting. I also am one of the people who don't find Hiro that interesting at all. Claire and Peter, in my opinion, are on the lower rungs of the interesting ladder. His brother and mom are pretty up there. Mohinder has moved up. The first two seasons I thought he was the worse. What happened to the mimic girl from New Orleans? And plague girl is boring. I wanna see Kristen Bell again. I like her. I have more to say, but I can't think of it right now. Looking forward to the next episode.

It's interesting how you equate Paul's possible conversion with being brainwashed. Paul's a smart kid. Even if he's only four. Just because he sees the possible good side of Jordanism, doesn't necessarily mean he's being brainwashed. -
Thanks for the chapter. It's good to see how their lives are progressing. One thing though...I don't see the point of the italics. I understand that they're meant to portray the thoughts of Aaron, but the story is already in first person. Because it's first person, we already know the thoughts of Aaron (since he's the narrator) so I don't see the need for additional thoughts in italics. I think you did a better job of it in BMAD. There, the use of italics wasn't as common as it is in WAS. Instead, you blended more of Aaron's thoughts into his narration, which I find to be lacking here. When reading this chapter, especially the conversation between Cosmo and Aaron, the italicized thoughts between every piece of dialog threw me off a lot. It was like there's this third person in the conversation (Aaron's psyche). If that is your intention...Well, I really don't think it's working. Anyways. I wanna see Mick. I miss Mick. When's Mick coming back?

[AFriendlyFace] WAS - Chapter 2: A Cosmo Mixer

Enjoyed the chapter very much. Where's Mick? I miss him. Ben needs to stand up for Aaron. The fact that he's letting his friends walk all over his boyfriend (and that Aaron is also letting them) is pissing me off. And I have a question. Did your writing style change between the two stories? Because when I was reading BMAD, your words just seemed to flow and while I'm reading WAS, it seems like it's more choppy. Maybe it's just me. -
I wonder if there are actually parents like this. So liberal (or whatever) that they'd be against their son/daughter joining the U.S. military.

I can't quite figure out what I should be feeling after I finished reading this. I'm trying to figure out if I feel all fuzzy and warm inside because they 'love' each other and can't live without one another. Or do I feel frustrated with them because they're staying in a relationship that clearly isn't healthy. I don't know if this whole thing is good or bad. Just all around very confusing. But I still enjoyed it -
Just started reading ISWB and finished it within a day. I must say that whenever Sam starts "rationalizing" about his relationship (or lack thereof) with Brian, I want to slap him. I feel the same way about Brian whenever he's SO obvious about what he feels but doesn't do a damn thing. Gah. I hope they get together. Or at least, connect and be back to what they were before all the trouble. They have to. It'd be SUCH a disappointment if they don't. You can't bring us readers through all this turmoil and frustration and NOT give us a happy ending

I've read Desert Dropping twice. It's my favorite Dom story, second to what's written of ITFB. I think I might try to reread The Lo(n)g Way, but I think I'm just gonna wait to finish ITFB before I reread that one.

Yeah, I expected that as well. I also expected that we would be following a grown up Paul instead of Garrett. I'm soooooo excited for this story. I can't wait 'til the next chapter -
I agree. However, it's hard to separate the Olympics from politics when the very boycott of an Olympic Games has been used as a political tool in the past. But, I try to think of the athletes and whatnot, instead of the bickering between nations about human rights and pollution. Although both are important issues, when it comes to the Olympics, I'd prefer the news focus on who's winning what instead of what China's doing to piss off the foreigners.

The entire time I was reading this story, I had T-Pain's 'Buy Me A Drink' stuck in my head. Anyone else had the same problem? -

I completely agree. The reason being the exchange between Ronnie and Aaron about whether or not Mick loves Aaron. -
I just use whatever I saw my mom use back home. Or whichever is cheaper. And it's not like I clean up often. My dorm room was a disaster zone last year.

F-R-E-E, that spells free creditreport.com baby. or... Freecreditreport.com Yee ha! I could have seen this coming (something) like an atom bomb (something) (something) (something) send you email alerts so you won't end up selling fish (?) to tourists in T-shirts. Yes, I memorized them. (Or at least, part of them.) I'm pathetic. I have found myself to be a buyer whose buying decisions are influenced by commercials. Decisions are usually based on how funny the commercial is, how creative, how entertaining, etc. Like, I'd totally go with Geico because of the gecko. Weird, I know. Probably not very smart either.

Wait, what?? That's not Philip Rivers. That's Scott Porter who plays Jason Street on 'Friday Night Lights' on NBC. (Excellent show. Go watch it ) This is Philip Rivers. And he's a douche. Wasn't he the guy who got into a shouting match with a member of the crowd during a football game? Yeah. Douche. That smile just screams, "Douche!" And you forgot Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. (Whoo! Go team! ) And Eli Manning of the New York Giants. (Who I think is sooooo much better looking than his older brother.) Oh! And Brady Quinn of, I believe, the Cleveland Browns. So yes. Lots and lots of reasons to watch football. These are only three

Super Bowl commercials are the best. However, while I was growing up, the local cable company would always replace the Super Bowl commercials with local ones. (I grew up in a U.S. territory.) Now that I'm in the continental U.S., I finally am able to watch the commercials. My favorite one this year was the one with the guy sitting in an armchair in front of a mouse hole, eating a bag of Doritos chips. Suddenly, this man in a mouse suit jumps through the wall and tackles the guy. HILARIOUS.

So I just finished reading the four chapters of 'Dismantle the Sun' and was dismayed when I came upon this: "The End...Maybe?" I'm not a regular of E-fiction (although, I probably should be. There's some pretty good stuff here), so maybe it's normal, but seriously, it can't be the end. Please, someone assure me that this is normal and that corvus is just taking his time cranking out a new chapter. I'm not a fan of Nick/Alec. For some reason, I have this feeling that there are some ulterior motives to Alec's hooking up with Nick. Something sinister. I'm not buying his shy guy attitude at all. His sudden switch in behavior is really the only thing that is fueling this feeling. Alec morphing from a shy guy to suddenly one who's the aggressor doesn't seem right to me. I mean, he's been alone with Nick before. And it should have been obvious that Nick likes him. So why now? I like Darius. Mysterious. Handsome. And rich No, but, seriously, besides his relationship with his dad, I don't find anything interesting about Alec. I'd much rather see Nick get with Darius than with Alec. And geez. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like Nick should revisit his feelings for his father? It doesn't seem like he knows what to feel. He says he hates his father. But it seems like the only memories he can bring up of his father are the nice ones. I mean, the Mother Goose thing wasn't bad at all. Lol. Or maybe it's just him trying to find something good in something bad. Whatever. I'm not good at this analyzing crap. Landauer is a bitch. Melina is cool. I want Nick to talk to Nelson. And for things to be good between them again. I've just discovered his stories, so I'll be reading his other ones for a while. Although, judging by the comments on this thread, I think I might be staying away from Mike and Winston for a while. I'm not quite in the mood for heartbreaking stories. Lol.
