Thanks for the kind words! There was pain, yes, but it made me who I am today. And along the way I got to experience some pretty wonderful things too. Alex's love, being included in his family and still being par of it today, I wouldn't trade those for the world! And for the record, A&Z and WIWI are autobiographical but the events of Blind Date are all from the imagination! Thanks for reading and commenting. I do really appreciate it!

And they still treat me like one of their own - noogies and all! lol They have seen me thru all of life's scrapes and I owe them big time. Love them all! Was Ryan asking me what I think he was asking me? And more to the point, what the hell was I supposed to say? Oh, I dunno. It might be kinda fun to have a blue bear as a permanent scarf! LOL And you may be right. Zach's family may have abandoned him long ago. But up until this point Zach had been able to ignore it and pretend it wasn't so. It might not have been much of a family, but it was the only one he had. After this Zach isn't going to be able to pretend anymore and he is going to have to face that his family really isn't there for him. It's in this chapter that Zach is forced to face that as far as his family is concerned, everything has changed. Thanks again for reading and commenting!

I know! It was so great that Zach got his cast off right? Or did you mean the ending? LOL Sorry - I couldn't resist. But, uh, yeah. It was a milestone for Zach. In more ways than just the obvious too. The actions themselves were almost secondary to the inner thoughts and emotions that were going on. Almost! Thanks little blue one! I turned and found myself looking right into Ryan’s eyes. God! He had the most beautiful eyes. I’m a sucker for guys with green eyes and Ryan’s were a deep, dark green like I had never seen before. They would have shamed emeralds with their clarity. “Uh,” I mumbled nervously. “Yeah, I guess.” I was kicking myself inside my head. Hey - thanks for reading and commenting - I appreciate it! The comment about Alex and long term relationship was a throwback to my other story. I borrowed the characters for this one from my story Alex and Zach. It's not really relevant to the story line for this story, but for any of my readers familiar with my other writing I'm sure they'll recognize them. And everybody needs a friend like Amy! LOL I know - she's a bit bitchy, but she does have a heart of gold. I intend to expand on the story and I think that will become more apparent with future writings. Thanks again for reading!
