  1. I’m working on submitting a couple of Ask the Authors. this next question was a sample question given to me. I’ve been wondering a lot about it and figured this would be a good place to post it. for @Mrsgnomie "We all know who Jay Petermeyer is, at least according to the GIFs you use in the comment section, but who is Loren Patrick to you, the author?"
  2. Not to echo too much on others, but not many authors can take something “cliche” And turn it into something extraordinary. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the read, look at the reader engagement: likes per chapter, comments, recommendation. It’s evidence and it tells a story of its own.
  3. I agree that the ovary conversation, “brunch for everyone” is one of the most hilarious lines I’ve read in a longtime. Definitely one of my favorites in this story.
  4. This is my second read through, the first on this site, and it’s even better than I remember!
  5. Nash is a great guy with a great husband and a great job. He would do almost anything for anyone. A very unfortunate incident steals the life he loves. He’s left in the ruble. His dream crush, Ryan, a local married guy with an awesome family that everyone wants to be part of, seems to take Nash under his wing. Moving on isn’t easy, nor is it quick, but the journey to get there is both heartbreaking and hilarious. In the end, he gets everything he ever dreamed of. Once again MrsGnomie wove a wonderful tale with great characters, unexpected romance, and lots of witty dialogue. Her stories are in a league of their own.
  6. Now we’re at 78 16 to go.
  7. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. This chapter was incredibly satisfying. So many things I want to quote but I’m commenting from my phone so it makes it difficult. I really liked Loren in the beginning. I never thought he was selfish or rude, he was simply himself. With that said, he only gets better and better. Uncle or dad, he is absolutely THE BEST with all the kids. It’s obvious they bring him joy. And the fact Loren shut down the sex. A miracle and a testament. I cannot wait for more. I do hope you feel inclined to further this gem a little, even if we can’t reach your insane challenge.
  8. I don’t know how I made this elite list but I take this responsibility very seriously. 🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴
  9. Not a cliffie but definitely a ledge!
  10. THIS STORY IS EPIC!!
  11. Read this years ago on a different site. Recently I followed the author here and decided to re-read this story. It’s such a good read. The characters remind me that you can’t judge a book by its cover. The way she writes and brings her characters to life is like no other. Worth the read if you’re on the fence. Not bad for her second story!!!

  12. I read this story when she first posted it and I've come back to it many times since. Having read her later works, I can see clearly that this is her first story, and yet it is quite masterful for a debut story. We follow Colin, who starts work at his dad's company. Charles quickly befriends him. Apparently for one reason, if you know what I mean. Despite how opposite they are, they develop quite the friendship, which of course develops into more, but not without each man growing during the process. The story is full of fun, whit, emotions, tears, and ultimately joy. There's no downside to this story. Read it.

    Still You Want Me

Finished reading this once again. The story that started it all! It's been a few years and it's clear that while this story is awesome, your writing has only gotten better.

    Jay's Loelife

I don't even know what I'm doing but I heard from another guy that you're posting Jay's Loelife here and not only is that true, but you have a lot more chapters. I can't wait to get caught up. And then I will see what else this place has to offer.
