    I just had to comment because Shay reminds me so much of a friend I used to have, so this story hit particularly hard for me. There were so many similarities the story ended up being insanely nostalgic for me lol. I was honestly surprised to see that you don't personally know any nonbinary people because you captured the topic really well! This is a beautiful story, I thought I'd have to read it in breaks but I ended up binging the whole thing. thank you so much for sharing this!!
