    I never write my stories back to back. I find the process creatively limiting. For me. I like the story and characters to guide me, not the other way around. I sort of plan what I want to say with the project as a whole, but beyond that there's no "master plan".

    Can't really say where this story is heading but I appreciate your reference. Our Summer Rhapsody holds a special place in my heart, too. It's probably the only thing I've written that I'd secretly wish someone would approach me to adapt into a limited series.

    I've written likable female characters before (Kate from The Red Zone/ Vanessa from Brother-In-Awe) but they didn't start as such. Daisy is the first female character I've written who's a protagonist and not someone in a supporting role. I'm trying to take the edge off the more "psychologically heavy" projects I've been tackling. And trying to venture into a more full-on romantic piece. But it'll have that "casual" kick to it!
