  1. Daisy's the queen of this. Nobody shares wisdom, slaps you in the face while still kissing your wound quite like her!
  2. We're all rooting for her. And that warms my heart ❤️
  3. I'm pretty sure we're all crying. 😉
  4. Glad to see you here @Quixo hope you enjoy the adventure.
  5. That's about the best compliment I could get. I appreciate the reference @starboardtack
  6. Thank you for loving her! ❤️
  7. The morning had come in hot and mean, sun already climbing high, heat sliding off the tin roof in lazy waves. Daisy was a woman on a mission, hair pinned up in a wobbly bun, sweat darkening the collar of her faded floral blouse as she marched through the house like a storm that hadn't decided yet if it meant to flood or burn. "Carla!" she hollered, near breathless, arms full of paper plates and napkins. "Lord, woman, put them deviled eggs in the icebox before they grow legs and run off!"
  8. I share your "hype" @Modified Cub And "lit" is an understatement.
  9. SHE IS!
  10. I guess we've talked about this but for some weird reason I was always hesitant to tackle female characters in my stories. Which is weird because I love women. Daisy is my love letter to all my ladies that came before. Definitely in my All-Stars list of favorite characters to write.
  11. The morning light cut through the thin curtains in Jackson's room, striping the floorboards with gold. Jackson lay on his bed, one arm thrown across his eyes, trying to grab a few more seconds of sleep. But the mattress dipped suddenly under a new weight, and a warm, familiar voice cut through the haze. "Well, would ya look at this sorry sight," Cash drawled, every syllable dripping with that Willow Creek country twang, "sleepin' like a damn baby after causin' the biggest commotion I
  12. Good to read your poignant and thoughtful commentary again @Cane23 I have plans to update The Wayward Brothers next. But I promise that after Down In The Holler, Futile Devices will follow!
  13. Not as much as I've missed your sweet takes @austinbiguy
  14. Thank you @andy cannon I appreciate the sweet words!
  15. I. Love. Every. Word. Of. This. I smile all the way through these. @The Donling❤️
  16. I guess the G stands for "girth"? 😜 thank you for the love, my beautiful wanderer!
  17. I should be the one thanking you, silly! Readers like you keep the mojo alive and my effort in check. Thank you @Seraph28
  18. Blake's hand slammed against the trailer door, the flimsy latch giving way as it flew open with a creak that split the quiet. The screen door banged against the siding as he strode inside, boots heavy on the worn linoleum, Jackson clutched tight in his arms. The blonde's legs wrapped around Blake's waist, tight, desperate, his boots scuffing against the backs of Blake's jeans. His arms wound around Blake's neck, fingers tangled in that thick hair, pulling him closer as their mouths met over
  19. Worry not my beautiful wanderers! I took a creative break and have since been focusing on my Patreon. All stories on "temporary hold" will be updated eventually on GayAuthors. The best way to know what I'm up to is to join my Patreon (you can do it as a free member). Until then, happy readings!
  20. Thank you for reading @Doha and for embracing the story and allowing it to challenge you.
  21. I appreciate the time you took to comment @JayBear41 I hope youu enjoy the rest of the ride.
  22. Ah, the thrill of small communities! 😅
  23. My LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring copy as traveled almost as much as I have. It's seen better days, yet it's the most beautiful book I own. My whole adult life is contained in it. Every crease. Every yellowed page. Every crack in the cover art. I worship it.
  24. Such a beautiful comment. I always wonder how it would feel to hold a physical copy of one of my stories. I appreciate the descriptive imagery.
