All I am wanting here is for the storyline to stay focused on Travesty, rather than Tragedy ...( unless that focus happens to be on a really deserving object like Wade's mum &/or sister, just as happened with JD's half brother, as most of us here still miss Robbie, or Will's mum & Hank for whom I was getting rather fond of). So hopefully we aren't reading Shakespeare here...in the natural course of things, young love while endearing & totally entrancing at the time, does burn out, however something much better usually does come along... BTW What subjects is Will taking at Harvard? And will Will be able to indulge in the consolations of Philosophy when Travesty hits the fan?

It is all of the above...I never did the obvious translation, so my bad. I was just going with the vibe of sadness and but also of gratitude for all those past memories..... even if here, they are just creations of that talented MrArbour ...& just like a lot of others apparently in similar situations where the loss is actually in the real world https://freemanbrothers.co.uk/2025/08/time-to-say-goodbye-is-uks-most-popular-funeral-song/

Am feeling humbled by the fine precision of yr language usage...it's like you were a graduate of some Latin Academy from teenage years past. Also upto now I had accepted the exit of various characters from Mark Abour's Simulation stage as just part of the natural order of things, a sort of "Con te partirò", so now we apparently have yet another bone to pick with our now admittedly amoral author.
-
There is the claimed truism that when one writes fiction, one reveals all about one's self ...so cunning is probably a good fit , but amoral ? George is definitely a tomcat [an aristocat?] of the first order, but life was short with no guarantees back then.....George's (& thus Mark's?) only obvious fault here seems that for the very first time in his career, George has put pen to paper in an indiscreet & potentially 'incriminating" fashion even though it was being expressed in other than his native language...thus the lack of his to be expected native English phlegm.

Will Visits the Set
totally avid reader commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Will Visits the Set
So Travis knows " what is coming"....? Mark Arbour has once again left us dangling waiting for that next 🙏🙏Saturday matinee episode. Am still having trouble mentally visualising this KenDoll chap...does he look like he's just come from having had a little plastic work done or is he straight out from one of the versions of "The Clash of the Titans"......because he is about to go up against Will and presumably that plastic sod has no idea about Will. The smart money will of course be on Will marking out his territory in his normal, blitzkrieg fashion 🥳😂 leaving no ambiguity or room for doubt. (Am hoping Ken has a therapist on speed dial.)- 25 comments

PrivateTim, am loving yr passion and investment in this latest Mark Arbour "Telenovela" installment, where just like on TV, the one of yr favorite but triggering characters, is fluent in Spanish. The jumping hippo 🦛 and elephant 🐘simile is one of your best so far....& now advocating raising the voting age to 30 should win you an even wider, appreciative fan base. (Wonder how Shoots would react?) Incidently you might find the notion of a Saturn return, at least as explained by astrologers (and maybe even Jung, I think), helpful in understanding how young fools, espec when in love/lust, somehow often manage to reset their lives back to a clean zero, sort of consistently when they hit their very late twenties (aka Saturn return). Personally I am all in favour of second chances, no matter what matter how cringeworthy anyone's past has been.

Wow, there are some serious Will haters here who act like he is a whereas try to remember he is only twenty years or so. Will is fairly unusual imo in that he can forgive and move on once a sincere apology is given , I am not sure that many of us here could do that at that age so yeah I would say he does have a reasonably mature mind. Its easy to forget what emotional messes a lot of us were at that age as we lurched from some emotional crisis to the next one intensified by peak hormones and horniness. Just remember how young Romeo & Juliet both approached life. And unlike our favourite RN peer, George Granger, Will doesn't get to get an explosive release by blowing things up

Well, this series is termed "Travesty" for a reason. Travis, like most golden boys, just doesn't have Will's emotional maturity, much less his capacity to see the big picture, so imo, this isn't going to end well for Will. So when the final curtain comes down on this travesty, Will is probably going to end up feeling nostalgically of Zach. 😍😍 I shudder at how far down,Mr Arbour is going to let Travis crash because as we all know, Mr Arbour loves drama 😭😳 & is cynical of young love, whether it's this scenario or its where Carlo ( & Will) walk in on Paolo with , say Stef.😁🤣 🐷🤣🦄

Anticipation, no matter how drawn out the interval between some of installments maybe, is really part of the charm of this series, as you freely give of your time to cordinate your characters in a framework dictated by history, while still somehow living your real life...so sincere thanks

It's probably fortunate for Travis' overall mental health, not only in that moment but also in any following legal proceeding, that he was sexually assaulted by Harry Weinburg rather than by his doppelganner in the industry, with a similar sounding name, as it probably would have ending up being a far more traumatic experience especially when it comes to having an accurate recollection, if Candice Owen is to be relied upon

It's pretty much a given ...bit like the fetal alcohol syndrome along with being bulimic, doing cocaine lines or even worse a severe non fat diet especially during the unborn child's first trimester. These are all acknowledged environmental factors.....which are often related to disernible changes in brain structures that can be read on a MRI. So imo, JJ is doing pretty well all things considered. It just goes to show the density/planning/ depth of the writing of our favourite content creator, aka Lord Arbour. Also, I am cautiously optimistic that our content creator is planning to pull some unexpected fireworks on the 911 anniversary whether if it is in 2004 ( muchless 203 years prior to this date in another saga ) I have been wondering where these (neo)nazi connections of Kris will lead, ( also why is Kris so relatively poor i.e faux Rolex etc , if he has these ties in the first place) else why did Lord Arbour introduce this twist in the first place. Is he creating a new rabbit hole down which to lead the story line. Doesn't Jake have some vague but serious experiences/connections with central & south America? Also we havent heard much from Wade lately Seeing he has all of that money and political connections, is he going going to be pulled into this intriguing growing issue somehow pulling him out of his domestic bliss with Matt & kids somehow? BTW there are still widely acknowledged present day neonazi enclaves both in Chile and Argentina. (strangely enough, every US president from Eisenhower to Obama have paid a quiet visit during their term of office to Bariloche in Argentina of all places. Apparently still to this day, that place still has a nice Bavarian mountainous feel, where one of its principal hotels started out back in the 1940's as a hospital specialising in plastic surgery...also that financial wunderkid Martin Bormann, despite dying at least 5 or 6 different ways in Berlin back in May 1945, was still signing his name to cheques drawn on the local Buenos Aires branch of the Chase Manhattan bank, as late as 1967) these are just some humble possible background graffiti offerings going thru my imagination as it doesnt look like our content creator is planning on stopping any time soon So we may really need to buckle up hopefully

California, Here We Come.
totally avid reader commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in California, Here We Come.
"It was incredibly annoying that after a long, arduous trip across the entire country I’d end up like some taxi service..." Classic line ..... true to life This drawing of JJ is just so true to life. I am thinking of two public figures of our present day who both exhibit similar entitled public behoviour with no apparent boundaries, where the man' s mother was severely bulimic, while he was just in his first trimester in utero, and his wife's mother was reportedly doing white powder lines on the kitchen table, while his wife at that very same stage in utero. -
So Daddydavek & DrPaladin are expecting yet another explosive Mark Arbour twist in the very near future Just as those of the Illuminarti mindset often feel compelled to warn of planned oncoming events, ( i.e its not our fault if you couldn't see the oncoming whateveritis , we did try to warn you, so its on you..etc.) , imo Mark has left a clue or a hidden easter egg, in plain sight, that this proposed royal maritime excursion will create quite a significant splash. Obviously it's still far too early for Princess Amelia to be pregnant so .... Can't wait

Once again Mark Arbour has given us another twist. The prolific writer, Edgar Wallace had the habit of spinning a wheel with all sorts of random plot twists/outcomes when he wanted to spice up his writing. So Kudos I was starting to wonder if maybe because of his connections, JJ was being targetted and lovebombed by Kris, but then it was Kris, ( you know, the blue-eyed, tall blond aryan type), who was the one who actually triggered this whole issue with JJ's family So does Kris' family have some connection extending upto present day, with Operation Paperclip where Nazis were imported & infiltrated ALL of the power centres of the USA post WW11, seeing that Kris appears to have little or no fluency in German as a language or atleast with legal german, making it look like he is maybe a victim of the US educational system rather than being educated in Europe. Just spectulating where the author is about to take us . (We had the menace of the Guild, a sort of dark amoral deep state of its time, with its implied connection with the baltic hanseatic league /Prussia in Grainger's saga, and now we have the issue of Nazis and their connection with the WEF, big banking & industry etc...so there are a lot of potential rabbits holes just waiting to be explored & most importantly, possible villians to meet.

St. Vincent and the Letter
totally avid reader commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in St. Vincent and the Letter
Wow yet another Arbour twist..... worthy of those Saturday afternoon melodramatic cliffhanging cinematic series like the Perils of Pauline or in this case the perils of Granger and Calvert. So far no one has speculated on counter balancing this threat to Francis' future prospects by inducting Francis into that ultimate fraternal, self protectional/promotional clique i.e the Brotherhood... apparently the freemasons or the fraternal order of Elks were never in the same league. Hopefully this villainous Chalmers ends up being posted to some tropical hell hole, if not set up as a French spy or even worse being found in a molly house with an impacted cucumber thus ending up being transported to Botany Bay. -
So far this is coming across as really polished writing. I am hoping that story in spite of its restricted status, is not going to end up too much of a tearjerker as I can see a few of us here, easily becoming emotionally invested in it.

I love writing where the join between reality & creative story telling blurrs so seamlessly. So Ian Thorpe & Will finally met ( a famous introvert mets an exuberant extrovert)... when they could have so easily met 3 years prior if only Ian had not been delayed in the start of his planned sightseeing by going to the top of the World Trade Centre tower where Will just happened to be at the wedding rehearsal that was about to take place at 9am, on 911. https://swimswam.com/a-twist-of-fate-kept-ian-thorpe-away-from-world-trade-center-on-september-11-2001/ I am just thinking of the possibilities in a divergent story line ...if only hey.. It makes a lot of sense why Mark Arbour has very wisely restricted readership to this story inspite of the disclaimer that this is all fiction etc

Re those still absent French kidnappers...knowing Mark Arbour's masterful plot twists, it will probably be a case like" No one expects the Spanish Inquistition" (I.e Monthy Python) only after we have been distracted by some other drama. I had ben wondering how Mark Arbour was going to manage the inaction of the treaty of Amiens ...and now he is setting up a lot of fascinating subplots of human dramas... before normal hostilities are resumed. Poor Francis...he can never be happy unless he is in a state of total love with some suitable man & now it looks like he is about to be shanghaied into an arranged marriage ....maybe with that wealthy young ward of George's, assuming of course that an affaire with a dominant, headstrong, randy royal princess is off the cards?

''Greg or Stef could be the Daddy??? Yikes, talk about having family issues; Travis and Will would never survive that. I bet it did happen at Claire and Jack's wedding; but just who could be the Daddy?'..... '' I sort of agree that after the coming revelations of this particular Sunday family dinner, things are going to look very dark for Will & Travis unless one is back in some isolated rural backwaters somewhere....you know, sort of kissing cousins in law This dinner may turn out to be on a par with that Thanksgiving dinner with Matt, a few years back. Definitely Greg & Stef are NOT the baby daddies, Imo. Mark has given us all a major clue back of who is the daddy, when Brad gave Travis that sort of WTF stare when they met back in Hawaii a week or so back, especially given that continual emphasis on Travis' sort of stunning ,other worldly beauty ..& ''...I bet it did happen at Claire and Jack's wedding'' I just hope that as they uncover a new relative, Will's other extended relationships won't be too shattered by all of the drama, guilt & apparent betrayal so that they can survive & rebuild I can already imagine the recriminational dialogue etc..........I have to keep reminding myself ....none is real, its a piece of fiction Kudos for this & that other continuing drama of George Grainger [& Caroline whom the author apparently has sidelined for being as loving as him .but just not as discreet]
