Peace of Amiens 9. Bridgemont

Unbelievable that Mark has got the ninth volume of Bridgemont already “en marcha” as the Spanish say. I’ve been following him for six or seven yrs but many loyal GA readers have been with him since 2011(?).  I hope Mark realizes just how must pleasure he has brought so many readers.  Thank you. 😊 

I have followed Mark for years now and I thought Northern Exposure was the last in the Bridgemont Series but when I did lament that fact, Mark so kindly wrote and said the series will continue. Thus, I am so happy the new story has begun. Thank you Mark. Regards, FitzHugh

I would have been distraught, @FitzH1943. Like Granger, Mark is a perfect gentleman

In have been following Mark, CAP and Bridgemont since 2013

The Bridgemont Series is, for me, the crowning work of the entire GA site. Granger is a fabulous protagonist and the story has gripped me since I read the first chapter of the first volume several years ago.

I totally agree.  Not only for the great storytelling, which Mark also shows in the CAP series, but for the incidental historical details and research.  This is a series which just gets better and better. 

I’ve come across the pond and am standing at Portland Place, remembering to look left as I cross the busy streets of London…Why do I suspect Francis may not escape or be able to tack leeward of a certain princesses ship of romantic state?

Maybe Charles Fitzroy will be the knight in shining armour who rescues Francis from his unwanted admirer. Fingers crossed...

I just like to add my SHOUTOUT for job well done to Mark for the excellent story and all the hard work put into the historic information. I’ve enjoy ever 
chapter and look forward to the next.
