Abel would continue their journey together, freeing everyone from their collars.

Chapter 4 - Lyre and Sand 4.2
RedMoon commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 4 - Lyre and Sand 4.2
This might get everyone a little too excited—but tails will definitely be wagging like crazy! -
Edward will eventually get what he deserves, but as the main villain of the story, he’ll remain active for quite some time. Also, apologies—I didn’t catch this during proofreading. The next story, The Three Musketeers, is actually set a thousand years in the past. Since it takes place during the early days of the empire, you’ll see some historical events unfold. So it might be... a little uncomfortable at times. But we’ll also come to understand some truths—about how things ended up the way they are now.

Thank you for reading and for your continued comments—I hope you enjoyed the journey! This is the work I’m most proud of so far. 74258 (Abel)’s story is the heaviest among the four squad members, with more bloodshed and violence than the others. We will see Abel continue his journey and bring change to the world.

I sank into the darkness like a block of lead. The icy, bone-chilling ocean, much like an overwhelming wave of guilt, tightly gripped my neck, covering my mouth and nose, suffocating me. I struggled desperately, trying to swim upwards, but it was all in vain. It was the collar. Even though I had already removed the collar, I still wasn't truly free. Furiously, I tugged at the fur on my neck, cursing this thing that bound me -- I was my own captor. I was born shackled, b

Yes, he is the prick. Several years after this incident, Edward succeeded his father and became the new Archduke of Golden. This unpleasant experience with Abel was one of the main reasons why Edward would later go to great lengths to harm Abel and his friends.

That's quite accurate overall, though there may be a small detail that might've slipped by. It will be revealed in the next chapter—but if you're curious to know now:

As we retreated, we encountered no further fighting. We found a massive breach in a tall wall and exited the facility, which resembled a fortress. The air was thick with the smell of gunpowder, spent shell casings littered the ground, and the sounds of intense gunfire echoed all around -- 74258 must have truly given it his all. I limped down the slope and entered a stretch of low, sparse shrubs. "By Rationalism, you're still alive!" Bert startled me when he found us, nearly making

After arriving at the northernmost station, we once again relied on the help of a group of sewer rats to exit the maze of sewers. Bert led the way ahead, clearly in worse shape. He occasionally rubbed his head and let out soft groans. "Once we're out of the city, the final stretch will be taking a boat to the other side, entering the territory of the Grand Duchy of Germany," the yellow dog said, slowing his pace, his voice tense with forced composure. "The Greenland (*The Verdant Isle)

The term "boat" might be a little misleading. To be more precise, this is more like a tender boat*. As we sailed through this underground palace-like waterway, I began to understand why Bert said we wouldn't be able to remember it--at least, that's what I thought. Every fork in the waterway seemed to be cut from the same mold, without any markings or signs. If I fell overboard here, I'd probably be lost forever, unable to find my way out. With that thought, I took a step back, deciding

The next part will explain Bert's behavior. I'm not that cruel, letting the little foxes fall into trap over and over again. They’ll get some downtime at least.

Based on the data that 74258 copied from Hunter's terminal, we arrived at the largest free imperial city in the Count of Ontario's territory--the trade capital, Ottawa. There's a major base of operations for the Railroad organization here. All we need to do is find a way to contact them. Though, truthfully, we have no idea where to start. We'll likely begin our search with those in the liquor business. In a trade hub of this size, it shouldn't be difficult to find a broker willing to sell us inf

The truth behind Phantom will be explained more clearly in Storm Wolf book 2. But yes, it can indeed be seen as a kind of future—essentially, it's a future if they chose to maintain the blockade around the Sol and actually succeeded. Just to add, every Imperial flagship has the ability to open wormholes. Empire's Gate is unique in that it's specifically specialized in generating wormholes (So Abel originally planned to escape the palace using this method), while the others are only capable of opening smaller ones. During the Battle of Midway, Richter launched his assault on the Federation through a swarm of drones that surged out from a wormhole.

Combining the storylines from Storm Wolf: Tranquil Waters Harmony and Time Crystal, along with The Pale Blue Dot and Curtain Up, here’s what we currently know: Luther and Maya have entered into a new marriage contract, with Luther becoming the new Archduke of Germany. They are to have a son, resolving the succession issue within the Grand Duchy of Germany. Luther’s “highly persuasive” nature revealed the true extent of his power, causing the Archduke of Golden to remain quietly dormant for now—at least refraining from any overt actions. The other nobles of the Germany House have also acknowledged Luther’s position. We’ll see this unfold in a later storyline—I absolutely love the moment when Luther says, We also know that under Luther’s leadership, the Empire’s Heart fleet is currently stationed at Lunar, which will serve as the starting point for the upcoming main storyline.

In loving memory of the great Richter von Deutschland, a leader who led from the front, and a warrior who fought tirelessly until the end. At the age of 41, he tragically passed away in a terrible accident. He will be remembered. (Not sure why the link isn’t working—let me paste it here instead)

"That was tough." For some reason, the coyote's voice sounded a bit like an angel's. I blinked, confirming that I was still alive. The seat was in its normal position, so I unbuckled the safety belt and stood up, trying to shake off the numbness in my legs. Ian had already sat up, reading messages on the terminal while typing out replies. The big yellow dog had a deep frown, and his cheeks would twitch occasionally. Not wanting to disturb him, I turned my attention to the window,

Yes, the individual possesses psychic abilities of a level and refinement comparable to Richter’s. Storm Wolf: Tranquil Waters – 28. Phantom contains subtle hints about the individual's identity, and Storm Wolf: Gathering Clouds (Coming soon!) will further explain the rules surrounding the Phantom, which should allow readers to infer the identity of the one controlling the drones from the other ship.

Since the string of incidents following the landing ceremony, nearly a year had passed. But our little adventure showed no signs of cooling down; it continued to attract a large crowd of curious listeners. Even though, strictly speaking, we hadn't contributed much, that didn't stop the fleet crew members from wanting to hear the first-paw story. To be fair, I'd never truly realized how many people were aboard the Empire's Heart. "Alright, alright, I'll tell it again from the start

The bad guys usually live to the end.

Well...

I slowly opened my eyes, staring absentmindedly at the metal frame supporting the upper bunk, and turned off the terminal's alarm before it even rang. José and Ian had already gone ahead to prepare, leaving only me in the room. As for what exactly they were "preparing" for, I had no idea, nor did I care to know. All I needed to know was that today was the day of Luther's execution. I tapped my fingernails against the terminal a few times, trying to focus by keeping a steady rhythm

"Running away... could you be any more mature?" I muttered angrily to myself, repeatedly kicking a small stone as I wandered aimlessly--wherever the stone rolled, I followed. As time passed, the temperature dropped lower and lower. I rubbed my arms with my palms, trying to warm myself while cursing my decision to leave without my coat. But I couldn't go back yet--not until I had sorted things out. It wasn't the first time I'd been pursued--I still had some status, after all--and b

They’re going to have a deep conversation.

In Journey (3/5), it was Hunter who forced him to put it on. If he hadn’t complied back then, his brains would’ve been splattered. And since that collar was made by Hunter himself, it couldn’t be removed using the previous methods.
