welcome to Dk's world then.. If I may suggest reading Rider's Pride next and then the entire Do Over series, you can get the most basic ideals of what most of us that are addicted to his writing. And yes, I have my reasons for people to read Dan's fan-fiction on the world of Pern.

Here's my theory! [dk geek hat] #1 We know it's after 2009 because: Sean, Davey, Brian all have birthdays on Jan 1969 (40+ age reference. BTW Admit it, Dan! You were just too lazy to give scattered birthdays to make it simple! ) #2 Levi Johnson reference means McCain-Failen did run in 2008 #3 It's Mr Jones and NOT Breckenridge-Jones #4 They have daughters and not sons (no Richard and Kevin) #5 Davey did NOT have kids in ANY time-line prior to where there was a President Jones. (He either died, got shot at or the planet was blown up long before 2008) Conclusion: Either it's the current time-line where Dan left us at the end of Let's Do It Or Dan has a Fifth Do Over story not yet written Or Dan didn't care for the small details [/dk geek hat]

Yeah, I was reading some of dk's older posts and there was one in which he was telling us about his life... https://www.gayauthors.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1894 Seems to be a LOT of similar events... :wacko: Y'all can draw your own conclusions but I am betting DK is really Davey.

I was just wondering about some of the things that happened during the series: --> Spoiler warnings unless you already read the Entire Series! <-- What was the significance to Brian's and Davey's Kids names in Doing it Right? I understand Richard David Breckenridge-Jones, but why Kevin Sean Breckenridge-Jones? Was this in reference to Kevin Ridgeway from Do Over Redux? And did Davey named him because Kevin saved his life in that f-ed up time line and Brian named his middle name Sean because Sean also saved Davey's life? -- I am confused with Mr. B's work history... Do-Over Time Line --> Mr. B. was working @ the local Cannery when Davey and Brian were in High School (1st reference when Davey/Brian in 9th Grade) DiR --> Mr. B. was a Bank Manager (Time Line Started at 7th Grade) Let's Do It --> Mr. B was again a bank manager? (Time line started @ 11th Grade then goes to his new business) If the time line was reset, how did he become a bank manager? (yeah, being difficult here! ) -- Now about the fight between Davey and Sean @ DiR Ch 7... It was about 40 freaking years (time wise) since the original Original experiment. Why is Davey STILL being so bitter? Seriously, they DO become friends, and Davey does gives Sean a better early life in DiR. If he held that much anger, why would he even tried at the early age?

Oh yeah, I forgot about another possibility... Get your tin-hats on folks... And for Fracks sake, there are a LOT of spoilers here so don't read this until after you read the entire series of Do Over! What about all the other survivors in all the other time lines that might be still in the active time bubble? Jaming signals obviously can be un-jammed, or bypassed, since the Do Over 6 managed to do so twice (more so often for Sean and Brian in LDI)... And did they jam the signals again before they left Austrialia? ** Sean's mind transfer was only partial in Do Over and his time line was being nuked... Could the original, Original Sean be still alive? ** Since Brian was trying to replicate a machine in Do Over, did his experiments send a signal that could be tracked to that time-line before everyone got nuked in another time-bubble? ** What about that Time Machine in China that is next to a nuke plant (as told to us in Do Over Redux)? That has a LOT of power and could there still be survivors? ** What about the survivors in Do Over Redux in Nevada? I mean Sean and Trevor's dad are the ones who sent Davey back and if there was still power, they could of figured out how to un-jam/bypass the jammer (as LDI Sean done). ** Speaking of Let's Do It, what about those soldiers in that ones time bubble before the Do Over 6 took them out? They are going to be Ticked if that machine was still active and they could not Turn it Off or get out of the bubble... ** And at the start of LDI, Sean told Brian there was only enough power to send One person back... Not calling Sean a liar, but he could of lied to Brian and just sent him back since there is no way in HELL Sean wants to go through what he did in the original, Original 1986 as this Sean IS the Original Sean? I've lost count on how many machines everyone (including the wacky scientist) has made and turned on somewhere on this planet, including the last one in Australia... No telling how many people was in/still in that bubble. Let's face it... DK has NEVER said in any of the stories that any of the machines were ever "Off". I just assumed they ran out of power after being nuked and all... Confused yet? :wacko: Hell, I will toss this into the ring: Was it Our Universe as we know and live it or a Parallel Universe? I say this since Davey's Mother's name is Sandy in all stories except in Do Over when it's Cindy. And then there are all the Secret Service agents in Do Over and Doing It Right with similar names Do Over: Thomas Castillo DIR: Paul Castillo Yeah, I know, Picky, picky... Then please explain this --> In all the stories, Davey tells everyone "I prefer Davey" except at "Let's Do It" where "My name, It's David NOT Davey"...

Entirely possible to write a new chapter... Or DK can make it like Star Trek and make it the "Next Generation" style and use Brian's and Davey's kids or kids that the others may have. :wacko:

My favorite was in "Let's do It" when Brian confesses his love for Davey in Trevor's barn right after Davey said he didn't want to have sex with Brian...

wow, a sequal to Dreams of Humanity or a sequal Rider's Pride. Well if I was Garret (DoH), I would nuke everything and everyone involved w/ the Sol Empire and anyone that tried to stop me. And what's not to like about flying dragons in RP?!? That's a tough call but I am sure I would enjoy reading either one. I am just now reading Dragonriders of Pern from the beginning thanks to your story and I don't know why I didn't read it before.

Many Thanks for bringing a conclusion to the Let's Do It. To be honest, I was hoping for a much happier time line (how many time lines is it now?) before the end. BTW: Are you setting this up for a new story line? I have to wonder (w/o spoiling it for your readers) why you ended it like that. Not going to use "spoiler" box because people will read it anyways, but it has to do with the scientist.
