My, another August birthday! Congratulations

My uni days are far and away. I stopped after a Master's in my specialty after a Master's in History. Now I'm retired, and doing a graduate course in net surfing.

How cute! - and so close to reality!

Why thank you! Thank you all! I had a great birthday with 40 or so of my nearest and dearest friends and relatives! Even Thorns was there! He stayed for a few days too, and we had a wonderful time discussing writing and stories

I like believable stories - even the fantastic ones have to have a core of believability. Believability, however is relative. My believable is someone else's nonsense. I too like Two Jubilees and a Spitfire. I also like my own stories, but won't plug them here I suppose I dislike several types of stories. Badly spelled; or ungrammatical stories Stories that begin Hi I'm Chad Let's f--k Stories with no plot. Perhaps I expect too much.

It is my understanding that Hallowe'en has become increasingly popular since the World War, but I am not certain that trick or treating is common. Kids will take any excuse to dress up, so I imagine parties may be around. If its a Harry Potter fanfic, I wouldn't worry about whether it is common in the Muggle world. Things HAPPEN in the Wizarding world. Check your Daily Prophet! Freedom
