The first part haven't got much, but I guess it's a good reintroduction to the story. Just a little surprised that the story picked up at the time after the orgy, as I was kinda expecting Wesley to be already 19 years old. It was what I wanted in the first place though, for COm to fill us up on the black portion of the story, as no one knew what happened to Wesley after the initiation. Only thing we know is that he turned his back on Cyrus and he was being tortured by thoughts until he "let go" completely. Just wondering though, would Wesley turn out to be "special", like Justin of GFD? Coz I don't think Cyrus would wait for so many years for him when the two other siblings before Wesley got killed when they turned their backs on him. If Wesley would indeed be special, that would be soo COOL. Anyway, expecting the next few chapters COm! Thanks for the "Treat"!

Just read this short story a while ago, and boy was it good!!! Com, you got to finish this one PLEASE!!! Just little treat before Savage Moon, please...

My first week of 'freedom' :)

Nice to know you're enjoying yourself com. Makes me feel good and less guilty knowing that at least you're relaxing. I know we have been such a slave driver (especially a few weeks after you promised Nights eternal) and that we tend to be demanding and unthoughtful of your own personal life. Sorry for that, it's just that... you're stories are so damn good! Anyway, catch up on some sleep. Travel, experience, and (get laid). Think of yourself for now, there is more to life than pleasing the fans (I'm being selfless here, although my heart's breaking). Gather new ideas and find more inspiration. I Miss you and my day lack luster without you! (But don't think of it as an emotional blackmail). After all, some kid in a hospital dying with cancer may die without reading more form you, but that's tough for them huh? WHat do we care? Hehe. -

Uhm, guys... did part B really just ended there? I mean... it kinda left me hanging... -

I was browsing through nifty when I stumbled upon GFD there. I checked it out if Com had released part B there. He didn't. But when I saw the last part of Nights Eternal, I noticed that it was longer than the one in the library. In voy, it ended after the visit with Zero. In nifty, there was this extra *naughty* scene with Dion and Dylan. Check it out! -

Finally read it on a rainy night. It was good, although it wasn't the way I was expecting Justin's secret to be revealed. I feel so sorry for Richie and Zero... shucks. You're writing had grown mature Com, which was good. The fic had became darker and with a lot more edge. No more kiddie games for Justin here... sigh... A lot of deaths surrounds Justin. And a lot of danger too. And then I found out that Rage is as strong if not stronger than Justin... It seemed to me you're dealing with the concept of loss in this chapter. I like Justin's meeting with Com. It appeared to me like Justin's also working his prophesized destiny on Com. Would he be successful in changing Com's perspective? Probably. It's his destiny to change people's lives afterall. If he could change Com's life, then he could change anyone's. Work on Savage Moon now! I miss Wesley... SM was also a favorite of mine. It was the first sci-fi I read from you, and it just blew me away. Actually, all your Sci-fi's are a favorite of mine. Magic man too! Can't wait for the Initiation! -

Argh! I was waiting for this for Months! But now that I have it I just can't bring myself to read it! It's like, I want to save it for lonely nights. Goofy, huh? -
I started with New Kid first, which was actually quite a good move for me, I later realized. It was of general theme, er, or 'light'. Humorous too. I set it apart from the other stories because of its teenage theme. The Others are just so mature-- Deep, angsty, and philosophical. I liked the other stories though (specifically the Sci-fis), much more than New Kid. Just for the simple fact that they made me *Think*. And have a lot of Action too (not those kind of action! Hehehe). Mysterious and dark, just the way I like it. Read New kid first as an introduction to Com's writing, lest you be shocked by GFD and Savage Moon. Magic man is good too.

OOOooooh!!!!!! Com you're such a tease!!!! I'm jumping all over the house right now! Now I know what Gyro feels two days before the Icezone!!! Look I'm rolling around too! Hehehe. Typing on keyboards while being crazy is one of my special talents. Looking forwrd to the Icezone party on the next chapter! -
Your right, Savage Moon was good. Really Good. It was the second story I read from Com, and it was just... wow. Made me a mindless zombie meant to devour all of Com's story. Great story, lined with deep Philosophical views. Very Nietszchiean. Liberating to the max. Dark atmosphere, all the more appealing. Unforgettable characters too. Delve so deep in the characters psychology they seemed like real, living people. Com gave larger than life personality to his actors. ...And much to my chagrin, a very evil cliffhanger. Bad, Com! BAAaad!!! Post Continuation Immediately!!! Otherwise.......... :2hands:

"Gone From Daylight: Pride And Prophecy"

I agree with you Gothica. I think we're getting way too far ahead on this. I too had read GFD so many times. I imagined so many different scenarios and possibilities. Waiting for something new... -

Becca said that Justin developed his mind reading ability as a defensive mechanism to avoid getting emotionally hurt by people. I understood your point though. But on the matter of Dennis being Rage... still less feasible than Alec in my opinion. It's May now... I'm checking the site everyday. -

Just questions: Do you think the Kid's extra could be used as a protection against Readers? If so, then if Justin could copy it, then he would be totally immune to Zero, Divinity James, Tim, and possibly even the Beast, right? How about Bryson's extra, the Healing thing? Could Justin use it then just dump the emotional burden it converted with his mind blast skill? Because if so, then with that extra Justin could practically be invincible. Another one. Could Justin be telekinetic? Could his mind blast extra be controlled in a way that it could levitate objects instead of destroying them? I remember a scene when he fought the raiders wherein he summoned the sword one of the raiders were using. Could it be a subtle manifestation of his extra? -
"Gone From Daylight: Pride And Prophecy"
Lenard_marc replied to Comicality's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
Uhm, I don't think that Dennis could be Rage. Dennis is way too old to be Rage, whose distinguishing feature is being a newblood, according to the live witnesses and survivors at the sanctuary (that's why Justin was a prime suspect, because he's a newblood with extraordinary powers). Nor do I think Rage as a 'reader' because I think to be a reader, one must possess a deep desire to understand others or protect themselves from others. Rage, I think, is neither. The way he attacks people hints psychological wounds and insanity. And he is more on the offensive/aggressive/impulsive side to develop a defensive method to protect himself mentally through a 'reading' ability. I think Rage's extra would be more on the Maximum Fighting Ability than Mental powers. Its more fitting for him. -

I was listening to Evanescence's song (you know, the OST in Daredevil) and it kinda reminded me of GFD. I dunno... sometimes, even the littlest things made me recall GFD. Must be because of anticipation or something. Com replied to my e-mail a few weeks ago and said that the next chapter would be in a week or two... sigh. -

I've been rereading GoF yesterday, for like the third time (hint! hint! ) and saw some things that really confused me. These concerned mostly the timeline of the story. Here's one: Tiana said that Zero was just slightly older than her at 106 (?) years old. But then Zero was alive at the time of the last mimic which was 600 years ago. Uhm...? Can anyone shed a light on this? Then there's also the order of the crossover of some of the characters. I don't know who came in first. Perhaps Comsie made a mistake on this one. Waaa. I'm just being paranoid on this story. Don't mind me. You guys don't have to reply to this. :snork: -

Richie may already be dead, but I doubt it. I remember one of Justin's dreams when he found Richie sitting on a grass (?) abd said "Storm's coming, my time is almost up" or something on the same line. I think he would find Richie still alive but barely, then die with Justin on his side. I suspect Justin will also try to see his mom, but not to talk to her, probably just to see how she's doing. I can't wait for the time when Bryson and Doc will finally know of justin's extra. That would be an awesome scene. -

I have a feeling that Justin's gonna be a hell lot stronger after meeting (or not meeting) Richie. Com did say that Justin's power was being subdued and pushed down because of his past, then spilled out in humongous proportion when he's distressed. He doesn't have the control over his powers (which is based upon his emotions) because there are still a lot of loose ends in his past. I'm thinking that he'll finally be able to properly wield his powers once he's reconciled with his past. ...Is it obvious that I really can't wait for the next chapters? Sigh...... -

Yeah! Alec is a better suspect. He's fourteen years old (according to Taryn), a red head (since Taryn is a red head, or brown), and has a lot of possible anger to fuel him (assuming his father abused him). He's probably attacking vampires to draw Taryn out as he probably blames his brother for abandoning him. I would like to know the other vampires' extra. So far a lot of the characters hadn't still revealed theirs. Can't Justin copy the beast's extra? Y'know, the dreams. I think it would be swell if he could copy that, or Com's ability to cast himself in shadows and disappear at will. Hehe (wishful thinking). Anyway, I like the beast's extra. If Justin could only use that to show Taryn a sunrise... Nice Story Com! Can't wait for the next installment. When will it be? This should be made into a movie! You're my favorite author of all time! And GoF is just the best gay story I've ever read!
