So, little old me is rereading ITFB and just puttering along, lamenting the fact that Dom has never returned, sad alas alack. I finish the last chapter, weep a little inside, and then go to double check Dom's blog, as I always do after rereading one of my favourites. And of course it seems that the blog has not been updated... And then I do a double take. And stare at the date on the blog. And read it. And realise that I have not read it before, and that it was from a few days ago. I then proceed to shit my pants with glee. Thanks for coming back Dom! Take your time, I'm just glad you're still alive and kicking. You've made my day/week/month/year. Hahah. OKay, now go give your father a big hug from all of us.

It was kind of funny to me that you knew the Santa Barbara area so well! Goleta/Santa Barbara is my hometown, so it was a bit of surprise to read this and think about an area that I haven't been back to in a while. Lovely story, cute and light hearted. Not to mention, it's set in one of the prettiest parts of Cali ;D

I'm very familiar with Greek and Roman mythology, and I loved the twist on this tale. I was so glad you didn't kill Ageus, that part always made me so devastated. And when you switched the roles of Arian and Ariadne I was afraid Theseus would leave Arian on the island, like the original story. The real myth is so tragic, and I loved that you gave this a happy ending, where Theseus learns that to submit is the greatest form of love, etc. Sweet.

Hey, I'm really really liking this. Good work! Great, rounded characters so far. I love the supporting characters, and I'm super fond of Shane already. And Jacob seems like a really sweet main character. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them. Thanks for the update!
