    Chapter 5

I love it, have put the story in my favourites....

    Chapter 1

This was a beautiful story, well rendered, I got a strong sense of the atmosphere, the tension, the fear of being hurt/rejected. Thank you and all the best to you.
  3. It makes sense: that's the reason why it is so good and touching: you know what you write about! Actually, I will never forget what author Isaac Bashevis Singer said in the interview he gave right after he received the Nobel Price in Litterature in 1978. He was asked what made a good author: "write what you know, based on the experiences from your own life", was his reply. I do believe he was right. That touches the heart. Let me add that the love which comes through in your story, both from the parents/ most notebly from the father, as well as Rick and David, lingers in my memory. Thank you.

    Chapter 1

This was a truly beautiful story, heartfelt, plausible and mature. Thank you so much, and I would love to read more.

You write wonderful, deep and give me a real sense of the characters. Please continue to write.
  6. It is a truly beautiful story, that touch the core of my being. What you give in this story is hope, and in a most real manner. It is when somebody really sees another person, like Kyle is able to see his brother for what he is, love comes. And the mother seems to be able to start her own journey of seeing.... Please continue to write, you do far more than string together a good story. I have a music piece that gives me so much, that touches that of being human, despite desolation, poverty and damage: there is still something beautiful like the gentle wind, perhaps this can give you something too: It's called The Host Of Seraphim by Lisa Gerrard and here is the link With kind regards Astrid
