Tiny! Lol! I managed to squeeze it in with only sixty-five thousand words. Hmm! Of course the author knows best. His words glow with rectitude and wisdom. The deeds and words related are holy writ, and the readers and characters dance to his tune. After all, he's God! Bow down and worship all ye who venture here. Cough! Cough! Yes! This tickles my curiosity too. Maybe they don't have the thirst for knowledge built into the culture, like the Realms, where a Loremaster is highly respected and a whole Realm is largely dedicated to storing and studying. I hope Kieran doesn't get too involved. He's already got enough on his plate, managing an increasingly complicated life in the Human world as well as the WidderRealm - thank goodness for Maurice.

Chapter 9. The group of friends, apart from Nathan, who was still sound asleep with his head against his father's shoulder, watched the buddha eyes snap open and sweep locally round. A big smile spread across Kieran’s features as he leaned against Rhys. "Whoa! That was harder than I expected but the news is mostly good." Corey gave an intent look. "Something’s bad?" "Not seriously bad, Corey. Which do you want to hear first? The positive or the negative?"

Yes! It was a rather complicated interaction between Kieran and Nathan which meant that without both of them there couldn't be a full picture. Kieran still can't see Life Force or Makelan's Green Fog energy - both of them vital. Lol! I think Ranevargar's going to blow his mind when he hears what's happened. Yay for teamwork! ⚡⚡⚡⚡

That's for sure! The Kieran/Nathan merge would have been lost without Michael's special link. Arthur and Samuel stopped the murderous Warden. Rhys was ready with healing and without Tan's oracle moment the local orcas might have been in big trouble. Interesting thought - Ranevargar and Maurice will hear everything, I'm sure, but what about the other Realm Lords? Possibilities abound.

The idea of song directed by creatures of intelligence and purpose impresses me no end. Lol! Stuck in a ward bubble sounds great - maybe Kieran had so much on his plate he just wanted 'out of sight is out of mind'.

Chapter 8. Merge/Nathan shuttered his Power Eyes against the blinding flow and release of power in the sky above. Now comfortable, he studied the explosive growth of the storm. Was so much power a show of strength? Rhys's comment about Maurice and Kieran making storms registered and, after locating the memories, Nathan kind of laughed at himself. I'm delighted to know that the story makes you happy Your 'wisdom and patience' comment made me think. The group does have quite a range of experience in their makeup but I suspect it might be Ranevargar's influence that guides a lot of their approach. 🦈🐧

Yep! and luckily his ability to see patterns in what's happening around him is a big help with understanding. I think his newness to the role of Realm Lord emphasizes how much catching up he has ahead of him.

Lol! I'm not too sure that 'tin hats and body armour' would make much difference against the kind of forces that might come into play. You're right though. Makelan expects confrontation and relentless efforts, and he's had 300 years of experiencewith the Usurper.
