    Great chapter as always, Mark and team. Sorry to have to say this but I believe you got the UK drinking laws a bit wrong regarding youngsters drinking alcohol with a meal (with adults/parents) in a restaurant/bar. Not entirely sure but I think it is 14 not 16. Even younger at home LOL. Looking forward to the next chapter, anyway. Love the references to "the ancestor". Mike (in Liverpool, UK)

    Another great chapter of part 3 of a great story. Initially, I didn't expect that I would get into this as I never had much knowledge of, or contact with horses. I am pleased to say that I am not only hooked, but am learning new things. As others have said, can't wait for more. Thanks.

    Fantastic chapter and an (almost) end to George's miseries. In reaction to JimCarter's comment, some of us ARE involved in Merry Old England! LOL. As always, a great read, congratulations to you and your team. I hate reading a good story that is let down by poor editing, so it is always a treat to receive a new chapter from you. Thanks for this early XMAS present.

    As with everything that Mark writes, I'm loving it. I'd hate to be in Brad and Robbie's shoes if war breaks out. They seem to forget that there are many skeletons in their own closets that could make for their undoing.

    I just noticed that there is no posting date showing, just -- Could this be why it didn't show on the home page? Great chapter and for some strange reason, I almost feel sorry for he who beds down with the dogs.

    I must apologise for not making regular contributions to this forum and/or lack of emails but I simply enjoy reading your stories too much. This is a brilliant new story and I am only sorry that we are so rapidly approaching the conclusion - don't think that I want you to slow down your posting LOL. I love being able to catch up with characters from previous stories, it works so well. Keep up the great work and I hope we don't have too long a wait after this one is complete. Mike

    Great ending to a great story. Jack, I hope that you change your mind about this being the end of the LV series as there is so much more "meat on the bones". Really looking forward to your next story. In the meantime I will probably (again) revisit your stories to refresh my memory. Keep up the great work. Mike

    WOW. Just read the chapter and am very surprised at the cliffie. Shouldn't have been, knowing Jack's M.O. but as usual, got so 'into' the story that I wasn't expecting the unexpected. One of these days, maybe I'll learn but if I do, it might mean not enjoying the wonderful writing as much. Please don't keep us waiting too long for the next chapter.

    Woohoo, at last. I was only thinking the other day that it had been forever since Splash ended. Jack, thanks very much for a great new start to this story, just sad that there is pain for our hero.

    As always, really enjoying a continuation of the CAP series. I've decided not to speculate about Matt's blood parents as I'd rather leave it up to Mark to let us know what is in his "twisted" mind LOL. Can't wait for the next chapter.

    It took me a while to get round to reading the CAP series but I'm glad that I finally did. I couldn't "put it down" I was so involved with the characters. Thanks for this latest chapter, it gave me something good to read this morning. Kep up the good work.

    Woo Hoo. For once, my brain was working really well and I sussed that certain activities might be kept for posterity almost as soon as they entered that room. Another great chapter, Jack. Can't wait for the next one.
