You will discover that Henley is not the best at making decisions, or at being a father, but at least he's trying. Is it inopportune? A lot is happening in a short time. Maybe they all need a bit of space to get perspective. Not saying they do for sure, but maybe.

To be fair, Jeff really did think that. He's a family man with children and is probably seeing the twins from that perspective, and also is an abject professional and believes in strictly separating work from private life. I think he thinks he's doing the right thing. At the very least he's well-meaning. He's also very influential to Drew.

Don't forget that Drew has been fighting this himself, the man he trust most in the world has advised him repeatedly to back away and he's now faced with not only the boys' father but a very powerful man. (what would you do if the A lister of the day stood in front of you warning you off? Jason Mamoa maybe, or The Rock? Harrison Ford in his hey days as Indiana Joes, or even Tom Cruise after Top Gun) Then there's the fact that Henley could ruin his career and hes a man of action and not used to affairs of the heart. I don't blame him for running at this point, but I'm sure he'll regret it when he's had time to reflect. Also, as has been pointed out, Amara isn't going to take this lying down so to speak

He doesn't know what the heck to do. He's been winding himself up over this for ages, and then after what Jay said, Henley was the last straw. The good news is that he's run back to Mam who will no doubt give him a good talking to.

Henley is well meaning but he's a super successful actor who's never entirely grown up himself. He's a party animal, so clearly thinks it's the answer to everything. He's not the best father figure, but at least he's trying at this point

Drew totally ran away. I'm pretty disappointed with him, but he feels it's all he can do at this point. He really thinks it's for the best even though it's tearing his heart out. Of course it can't end like this. I think even Drew knows this can't be the end, but he needs some distance. He knows the twins are okay for now with their family and he needs to spend time with his. Um...to be honest, I don't think Aria was lucky. You'll find out why soon enough. As for Ben...hehehe

Henley is an interesting character. He does his best work when the camera is on him. Juliana is a spoiled likely farm girl who has come to believe she is entitled to have whatever she wants and becomes bitter when there's something she can't have

Oh boy do you have some surprises coming

Jay is one of my favourite characters, and they get even better. Now I wonder why, after years of running away from confrontation and abandoning the twins to Julianna, Henley would suddenly grow a backbone and take a firm hand in looking after the twins. Jeff's problem with the situation is about professionalism and Drew letting his feelings get in the way of his job. If you closely examine the situation there are two ways in which Drew let his feelings (being drawn into the drama) get in the way of his professionalism and if he hadn't the kidnapping might not have happened, at least not in the way it did. First, he allowed Aria to be moved away from him, by Henley, and didn't follow. Second, he hesitated when Julianna grabbed his arm. She could never have held on to him and if he hadn't paused to listen to her he'd have had crucial seconds that might have made a difference. Jeff is right. He is letting his feelings come before his professionalism. I doubt Jeff would have the same problem if Drew was no longer involved with the twins on a professional basis, although I'm sure he'd still have his doubts given how vulnerable the twins are - or at least appear to be. They both act very much younger than they are after all, and Jeff hasn't had the interaction with their friends like Drew has.

Momma is a nightmare on legs. She should never have been allowed to have children in the first place. You could say she was too young and wasn't ready, or was swept away by fame, or even that she was barking man, but nothing excuses her behaviour which is beyond reprehensible.

Actually, the blood and water idiom has been misquoted. The full quote is "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" which actually means exactly the opposite to the way it's used now. Not relevant to anything I know but just a bit of useless trivia. I can assure you that by the end of the story Julianna will be brought to her knees by a lot of shit going down

Okaaay, so I figure you don't really like Julianna then? To be honest I don't think there are many people who do. I feel sorry for the new boyfriend. He seems like a nice guy and she's already using him and screwing him over. I doubt he'll be any more assertive than Henley though and the baby's going to be all hers.

I think you are totally right about the person in our lives who is our safety blanket does not have to be related in any way, and does not necessarily have to be in a relationship. I don't think Amara would have said anything at this point if he were in control of himself. Events have forced all their hands. I get what you say about Aria. However, it is perfectly possible for someone to be in a romantic relationship without there having to be a sexual relationship. I said at the beginning and I'll say it again that there absolutely is not going to be any sexual relationship whatsoever between Amara and Aria, that does not mean they can't both be in a romantic relationship with Drew. Not that I'm saying they are going to be, just pointing out that it's possible.

Amara's high on pain relief and probably calling for Drew and let his feelings slip out. I doubt he would have sat down and had a heart to heart Drew hasn't even faced his feelings himself yet, so god knows what's going to come out when he talks to Henley.

I wouldn't feel sorry for Ben if I were you. After all, Ben must have been the one to tell the kidnapper how frightened Aria is of small spaces, and to suggest they lock him in the boot. Drew isn't going to forget that and neither is Amara
