The Doorways to the Unknown - 2. Loving the Unknown
Sometimes love hurts and you close that door. However sometimes doors don't stay that way
Love the Unknown
After the pain I sealed that door
Knowing I did not want it any more
Yet with a look from you the door fell down
I built my walls thick and tall
Keeping everyone out so I would not fall
Yet with a word from you my walls lay shattered
I hid within the hollow man
Letting his smile protect me was the plan
Yet with a poke and a prod you cracked him open.
I now lie naked and bare
In a world where I thought no one would care
Yet with a smile on your face you wrapped me in your love and carried me away.
What we will share together is yet unknown but love.
Dedicated to Justin who broke my door and shattered my walls.
