7.31.14 and other dates of insignificance - 4. Poem Four, Stop
Stop
by Foster
I don’t understand
Standing under the spotlight
Your communication
You’re not talking… anyway
But I feel overwhelmed with information
Only
Silent eyes
Stare at me
And it is music foreign
To my heart
It’s embarrassing me
This urge
To give in
I would rather
You ignore me
Again
Go away
Go back into the background away from any focus… regard
Guard
Stop all this dancing
Stop all the whispering unheard feelings
Stop your damn smirking
I can leave
I will leave
I’m already gone
Not paying attention
Down steps never ending
So what if you laugh
So what if this follows me the rest of my days
You don’t get it
I don’t get it
Neither of us gets it ever
Because this is fundamental
More than fondling me
It’s too damn important
It’s love again
Hurt
That’s found me
Just...
Just fuck off

It was still Saturday but tomorrow came… won’t be Funday.
I'm an impulsive doodler of words.
