Crying in the middle of a crowd, all you want to do is to turn transparent.

You no longer want to dream, to be hurt, or to be heartbroken.

You have already decided.

You're silently enduring it.

Holding it in.

Trying to grasp yesterday tightly in your fists.

Yet the sweeter the memories, the more they cut into your deep wounds.

The more they hurt, the more they leave deep criss-cross shallow cuts on your palms.

You aren't truly happy.

Your smile is just a camouflage that you wear.

You've decided to not hate anymore, decided to not love anymore.

In a shell forever locked away.

Shutting your soul in a box.

Locked away.

The world smiles, so you smile.

So you can fit in.

When survival is the requirement and it's not your choice.

And with watery eyes you drift along, stumbling as you walk in the crowd.

Speaking words that are given to you.

You are not truly happy.

I'm standing next to you on the right.

But we're actually galaxies apart.

. Must we hold on to regrets until we are old?

You deserve to be happy.

You should shed off the camouflage that you wear.

. Why must you continue to punish yourself after losing so much?

Can we end all this sadness at this moment?
