Time is ticking
I've embarked on a journey
Inevitably
The seconds pass by
I'm on a mission
To an unknown land
I go beyond, I'm on
The road to nowhere
My memories are fading
The darkness' closing in
I've passed the threshold and
I'm walking in dead silence
But I wish I could tell you
Of the light that I see
Far ahead of me at
The end of the tunnel
I wish I would not leave you
At desperate ends and
I wish I could tell you that
I love you, my son
