Poems of Time - 1. Right Moment
Mind racing at a million miles a minute
From the foot tapping, fingers tapping
To standing and just pacing back and forth
Walking in circles contemplating,
Sitting down, trying to pick up meditation
Time passes and now you’re calm
You took your moment to breathe
Now take your moment to thrive
Take what you should’ve already had
No more being overlooked, unappreciated
No more living in the shadow of others
It’s not how you pictured
Hell, it’s not how you wanted
But it’s here now saver it, enjoy it
Soak it all in because now that you have it
Never let it go. Don’t worry if you earned it
Don't worry if you deserve it, just be grateful
The fact that you’ve been blessed with it
The fact that you’ve been cursed with it
The fact that this is indeed the right moment.
Love all you guys, keep spreading love, positivity, and remember to continue being safe out here during this pandemic. In about a week it'll be Mama Stone's birthday, my niece's birthday, and Valentine's Day. Triple whammy!
