That’s What I Call Entertainment - Prologue. Prologue

Any resemblance of Class Act Communications and any real corporation is coincidental. I tried to make it as generic as possible.

Cary is an account executive for a large telecommunications company. Class Act Communications holds an annual user’s conference. This year’s is in Las Vegas.

The company always brings in big-time entertainment. The first part of the evening this year was a concert by 60’s and 70’s stars, Three Dog Night. After the concert, a dance troupe provided another hour or so of entertainment over drinks and appetizers.

One of the dancers caught Cary’s attention in a big way. He just had to meet them. Unfortunately, perhaps, Cary couldn’t tell if they were male or female, covered head-to-toe in spandex. He was pretty sure it was a young woman. Is it?

I like the prologue. Three Dog Night is still performing? I know a key member died if I'm not mistaken. One time in the 70's they and The Guess Who toured together in New Zealand and Australia in New Zealand they were more popular and they headlined but in Australia it was the other way around so they were the warm up act. Go figure.

My bus is here so I'll have to read chap 1 later see you in a few hours

Yeah, most of the originals have died. The inspiration for the story happened late 80’s or early 90’s. 3 Dog Night, the dance troupe, and the attraction to a dancer were real. The rest of it, not so much. I still have one of the songs they used on my playlist.

Dear Lord in Heaven....I'm gonna be showing my age...the very first rock and roll concert I ever attended was Three Dog Night, if my memory serves me correctly it was in celebration of the dinosaurs losing the civil war...

Damn those cavemen, beating the dinosaurs, I'd love a dinosaur for a pet. My first concert, first two actually, were Joe Jackson - no, not Michael's dad.
