Twinks in Space: Fantastic Voyage - Part Two - Prologue. Prologue - The War

This is a brief update on the universal war that was started at the end of the first book.

Of the 600,000 assassin viper androids unleashed upon the universe by the Intergalactic Covenant of Unification for the Ages, only a tiny percentage of them had been destroyed, and their genocidal onslaught continued. The machines had already spread across the face of one of their target planets. They had razed it of all the sentient life on-world. The planet was called Sigathi; its people were the Oahona, and their race was brought to the brink of extinction by the assassin viper androids.

Very few of the killing machines on Sigathi had been destroyed, and with their horrible task completed, the remaining androids gathered together to await pickup and delivery to the next species they were meant to annihilate. Once the machines reconvened, they powered down to preserve their battery packs, and together they waited.

Warships that still bore the Giblox Authority insignia, but which were now part of the Intergalactic Covenant of Unification for the Ages, had been positioned at strategic locations across the universe. Above the planet Biovialia, they attacked communication satellites that were essential for making contact over the vastness of space. The warships that appeared at the Halo One Space Station unleashed a brutal assault against it, and by the time the Araxrtic military assembled to retaliate, the base was already destroyed and the enemies were gone. On the Ulistrial homeworld, factions of soldiers took up occupancy and forced the people to abide by a brutal curfew that kept businesses closed and families locked in their homes.

The universal onslaught perpetrated by the Intergalactic Covenant of Unification for the Ages had been an overwhelming success. In fact, only a single one of their minor secondary attacks had resulted in failure. There was a weapons storage facility owned by the Guild of Houses that the I.C.U.A had hoped to loot, but it proved not only to be nigh impregnable, but it was also heavily guarded by agents who protected their cache with a level of ferocity their enemies were not prepared to handle, and they were devastated by the Guild of Houses agents.

It was an insignificant loss, and the Intergalactic Covenant of Unification for the Ages was unhindered in their quest for supremacy.

The story dives right in with Stawren and Lyoth in chapter 1!
