You Were There, and other poems - 2. Studies

Right away, Poem No. 2 is in sympathetic resonance with my feelings of the past week or more. The second study and its eggshell intolerance speaks to me with a clear voice, too. You have waited to post these poems and sketches for reasons known best to yourself. However, I can truly say they arrive to me at a time when I need to see and hear them. Thank you. 

@Parker Owens noting of eggshell intolerance spoke to me greatly, as well.  I see so much of it in the area where I live.  While I see a bit of improvement, it is seemingly at a slow snail's pace.

A considered poetry set, with some hope but also pointing out the world has much progress yet to make.

Thanks, Parker. Your generous comments prove once more that poetry can speak to us as individuals, despite the circumstances around "why" they were written (and when . . . ). These are old poems, starting out in 1994 when I was still living in Japan

Thanks for reading and commenting, ReaderPaul. I left off a lot of personal info, which would have provided context for the poems, to see if the words themself could speak to anyone. Comments like yours make me feel these old pieces of mine may not be so bad after all. Thanks again
