Elias Shastan has been an orphan on the streets for years now. He only has one wish--to find a home for Christmas. But when Christmas Eve rolls around and Elias is still stuck in the snowbanks, he begins to lose hope. Will the magic of the falling snow grant his only wish, or will Elias be frozen in loneliness's claws forevermore?
It has been said that approximately one-sixteenth of our population in Canada is homeless, and therefore always out on the streets, even in the dead of winter. This story is designed to open the eyes of young citizens to this growing problem, and maybe—just maybe—something can be done to correct it.
