After the defeat of the one of the Icarus Confederacy's enemies, and hurting from the loss of one of their own, the Confederacy returns home to regroup. Despite their need for respite, the war isn't over yet.

Disclaimer: Please note the "dark" tag on this story. If you had trouble with some aspects of Season One, then Season Two is probably not for you. This is the middle season, and as such it has most of the darkness before the dawn. I hope that if you give it a chance, you will find the darkness fitting to the plot, even if it is not so fitting to the appetite.

You have been warned.

A great continuation of the storyline from the first of the trilogy. The storyline is still just as interesting as the first book, and the plot twists that develop in this one make the world bigger than in the first. Unlike the first book, there wasn't a lot of angst that seemed out of place. Even with the "dark" tag and warning, I didn't feel the story needed the warning. It does have dark undertones, but hey, it's war.
