Sam Baker had three ambitions. He wanted to get through his last year of school with good grades. He needed to keep his head down, so as not to be the focus of the school bullies. And finally he wanted to be free from school, and free from Dane o’Hanlon.
Not that Dane even knew that Sam had the biggest crush on him, in fact Dane barely knew of Sam’s existence.

Well, I just finished chapter 6, and I figure I have to weigh in with my two cents worth. What a fine story! I am so glad I stumbled upon it. I like how it feels more "substantial" (for lack of a better word), now, than it did in the beginning. The characters have more depth and the dialogue seems to pack more of a punch. Perhaps it is just my perception, but there seems to be a bit of an evolution, here. I am torn between wanting to read more, and wanting to stretch it out!! Very well donethumbsupsmileyanim.gif .
