A story of growth, confusion, sorrow and ultimate joy with clarity of self.  It's a story that explores deep wounds, friendship and betrayal.  The writing is inspired and the descriptions intimate without being crass.  The characters are compelling and their stories personal. There is a well earned happy ending!

This is not an easy read, far from it.  Not only because of the events narrated, but, far more, for the exploration of Scott’s feelings as he wrestles with what he wants from, and can truthfully offer, in two complex relationships.
this is one of the best pieces of writing I have read in a long time.

Beautifully written and intimately descriptive, you don't just get to know the characters you feel for them, the pain, the anguish, and the bond of growing love. Luc has yet to find true happiness that is promised in a later story, but foundations have been laid for his future. It is a great read and highly recommended.

Written in unique, 'poetic' style, this amazing book brings story about three incredible characters whose scars from the past marked their lives. Scott, a romantic jock with heart as big as universe will influence the lives of deeply wounded Luke and Josh on a journey, he is going to heal himself and find the love of his life. This story touches the hard topics of abuse, homophobia, violence and suicide but it is love that prevails as unstoppable force.

There is more than a decade since this story has been posted, but it is one of those universal tales that can be read at any time.
