Don't Be Hacked - 1. Bullied By Hacked

Strong passwords are such a pain, hard to remember and so much to type. Some girls learn the hard way why a strong password is a good idea.....

Cast 3 teenage girls, Ashley, Brittany, and Maria, plus an off screen male voice

FAde In:

Mean tweets

A group of girls gathered outside a high school

Props: each girl should have a cell phone

Ashley

Did you see what Melanie posted about Rachel? It’s awful!

maria

I heard that she said Monica was a Ho who cheated!

Brittany

Melanie is my best friend. She would never say that about anyone! She lost her phone yesterday and I bet her account was hacked!

Ashley

Well call her phone and see! I bet she answers because she posted that stuff.

Brittany pulls out her cell phone and calls Melanie’s phone number:

Maria

Put it on speaker so we can all hear!

*phone rings in the background*

Unknown male voice

Hello?

Brittany hangs up quickly, and the girls gasp and start chattering among themselves.

END SCENE

Hacked’s Den

Characters: Hacked – mysterious black figure

Props: a few computer screens, showing fuzzy information

Scene: Hacked’s lab, a dark room with lots of computers, and Melanie’s cell phone, a pink blinged out smart phone

Hacked

(dark figure, should only be seen from the back, puts down the cell phone and laughs)

I just love these teen girls and their cell phones, don’t you? If they have a password on their cell phone, it’s easy to guess.

This cell phone didn’t even have a password, and she had her twitter account name and password saved! So easy to cause trouble, post a few lies on twitter and they’re fighting!

(figure laughs)

[Scene description]

Scene zooms in on a computer screen which says:

“Strong passwords keep you safe:

Minimum 8 characters

Have one or more upper case letters

Have one or more numbers or special characters like # ! or $
