Darkest Days (The Wild Hunt) 1. Myth and Lore

   (2 reviews)
Darkest Days.jpg

It's cold up here in the mountains. Elias mourns his lover, but in these darkest of days between the years, strange things ride on the wind and the old tales come alive.

It’s a tragic, mythical, mysterious, and heartbreaking story. But, in the end, it’s also beautiful.

This captivating story of love and loss weaves a thrilling tale! The author masterfully blends elements of folklore, fantasy, romance, and action. The world-building is rich and immersive, transporting readers to a realm where magic and myth intertwine. The characters (assuming the wild hunt is a character itself) are complex and compelling, Elias' struggles resonate with the reader. I really loved it!

I hope the author writes further stories in this setting!

Response from the author:

Thanks a lot ❤️ I certainly enjoyed writing about „the wild hunt“ in this setting. However, continuing in this specific setting is somewhat difficult. There might be the possibility to add more short stories based on European mythological or fairy tale characters. The heroes could all be different … or maybe Elias goes on a hero‘s journey, meeting or fighting all these characters … until he comes full circle and meets „the wild hunt“ again … and possibly Adrien? So many possibilities. Let‘s see how much time my BF grants me for writing  😝 (Note to everyone else, check Rafy‘s and my locations and take a guess ;)

A truly well written memorable tale full of pain and wonder, despair and love.

It shares a message that many forget and many more never fully understand; love is to be shared, even in grief and despair.  Sharing the love keeps the world brighter and those you shared it with alive even when they are gone.

Response from the author:

Thank you so much! In hindsight, this was the first story on here that I actually completed, so I‘m glad you approve.
