Relax - 1. Chapter 1

I peeled away my clothes, removing the stress of the day.

They slip through my fingers, dropping to the floor, forgotten like the world.

Nobody’s home, just me, it’s quiet.

Flames from the candles flicker.

For the first time in hours, I can think, sinking into the balmy water.

Sigh!

The temperature is too hot, but I don’t care.

The pain is blissful as it turns my pale skin from pink to red.

Heat seeps into my joints. I relax. My arms float upon the water.

The touch is accidental, but I can’t stop the murmur that follows.

Gasp!

An instant response, tightening flesh…I won’t.

I want to relax not to grow excited, too late.

Already feeling the rush of anticipation of my need rising to the top.

I ignore what can’t be ignored.

Fingers explore, flesh quivers… tight, taunt, throbbing.

Quick!

Satisfy, then relaxation can be found.

Pinching flesh, stroking, probing between my fingers, moving lower, hidden beneath the water.

Pleasure at the pain. I want to stop. I need to finish.

Push my head back and lull at the feeling…silky, satin, slow.

Footsteps on the floor boards, nobody should be home, the door is unlocked!

Curse!

I fight to keep my eyes on the doorknob. They want to close, to revile in the delight.

Light peaks under the door.

“Are you home?”

I have to breath…I try to answer…I can’t stop!

“Yes!” My response is for my body and not for the knock at the door.

Trying to keep below the waves, my back arches, I bite my lip as my thighs push forward unable to be tamed.

I won’t stop!

The knob turns, I press back into the water. All I wanted was to relax!

Light floods in as the water nears the edge, splashing the porcelain sides.

Ecstasy!

The smile is only for me…so is the red flushing my cheeks.

Inspiration can be found in the strangest of places...even in the tub! :P Hope ya enjoy

This was fun, and I love how the poem is constructed with the simple exposition/introduction, the growing anticipation/excitement, the (unexpected) turning point and the happy end. Like a miniature story in itself. I also loved the different exclamations and how they help to create the growing tension. And then its such a simple and delightful theme and scene.

It reminded me of how long it's been since I last took a bath, almost ten years ago. When the tub was full to 2/3 I ran out of hot water, so when I finally got in, the water was no more than tepid. A couple of weeks later my son was born and the tub's been full with toys ever since.

Despite the interruption, your bath sounded more successful. wink.png

I love to take baths. It's nice having a private bathroom away from the kid so we don't have to share. Having some medical issues with regulating my body temp makes taking a lot hot bath very nice and sometimes enjoyable for other reasons too! :P
