Life - 5. time
time is relative
it passes too slowly when we’re young
it seems we have so much of it
it stretches out in front of us to infinity
time is on our side
so we kill time
we waste time
we rush through our days
watching the clock
hurrying it along
tapping our foot impatiently
waiting for it to pass
time flies
it slips away while we aren’t looking
we blink and it’s passed us by
wasn’t it just yesterday
where did the time go
we look back into our memories
if we could turn back time
if we could only go back
if we could do it all again
if we could do it differently
but we’re running out of time
and it’s so late
time’s up
