Love is so inspiring, whether it is the love you feel for a friend, a lover or a child. Sometimes the feelings are so overwhelming they just cannot be contained.

These have all been inspired by people I love. They are all still in my heart, even though some have gone from my life.

Loss is always difficult to deal with, whether it is the loss of a friend, a lover or even a small furry companion. Sometimes putting the feelings into words helps confine them—so you can put them away into memories.

These poems are about life in general. Maybe some of them are a bit more personal than that.

Depression… Sometimes feelings go deeper than just a general unease. Sometimes they slide down to the pit of your soul and you can’t seem to get them to climb back up.

These poems reflect those moments in my life. Some reflect moments that I thought would be the last of my life.

Angst is defined as “an acute but unspecific feeling of anxiety; usually reserved for philosophical anxiety about the world or about personal freedom”
The poems here reflect feelings of unease, discontent and anxiety—some of the less comfortable things crawling around in my head.

Dreams aren’t limited to the night, nor to the sleeping mind. You never know when your mind might wander—or where it will take you.

These are fantasies, pure and simple, from my own wandering mind.
