  1. Pain of Love II

By Luc, in Poetry. 01/27/2011 (Updated: 01/27/2011)

An ache filled with longing or regret. A sharp stab to the heart, as filled with anger as it is with agony. An emptiness that threatens to consume your soul. The pain of love takes many forms.

    Nothing hurts worse than love.

  2. Pain of Love I

  3. Love III

By Luc, in Poetry. 01/27/2011 (Updated: 01/27/2011)

Love is so inspiring, whether it is the love you feel for a friend, a lover or a child. Sometimes the feelings are so overwhelming they just cannot be contained.

These have all been inspired by people I love. They are all still in my heart, even though some have gone from my life.

  4. Love II

  5. Love I

By Luc, in Poetry. 01/21/2011 (Updated: 01/21/2011)

Love is so inspiring, whether it is the love you feel for a friend, a lover or a child. Sometimes the feelings are so overwhelming they just cannot be contained.

These have all been inspired by people I love. They are all still in my heart, even though some have gone from my life.

  6. Loss

By Luc, in Poetry. 01/21/2011 (Updated: 01/21/2011)

Loss is always difficult to deal with, whether it is the loss of a friend, a lover or even a small furry companion. Sometimes putting the feelings into words helps confine them—so you can put them away into memories.

  7. Life

By Luc, in Poetry. 01/21/2011 (Updated: 01/21/2011)

These poems are about life in general. Maybe some of them are a bit more personal than that.

  8. Depression

By Luc, in Poetry. 01/20/2011 (Updated: 01/20/2011)

Depression… Sometimes feelings go deeper than just a general unease. Sometimes they slide down to the pit of your soul and you can’t seem to get them to climb back up.

These poems reflect those moments in my life. Some reflect moments that I thought would be the last of my life.

  9. Angst

By Luc, in Poetry. 01/20/2011 (Updated: 01/20/2011)

Angst is defined as “an acute but unspecific feeling of anxiety; usually reserved for philosophical anxiety about the world or about personal freedom”
The poems here reflect feelings of unease, discontent and anxiety—some of the less comfortable things crawling around in my head.

  10. Daydreams

By Luc, in Fiction. 01/12/2011 (Updated: 01/12/2011)

Dreams aren’t limited to the night, nor to the sleeping mind. You never know when your mind might wander—or where it will take you.

These are fantasies, pure and simple, from my own wandering mind.

  11. What Might Have Been

By Luc, in Fiction. 01/12/2011 (Updated: 01/12/2011)

Memories can be beautiful and painful. What they say is often true, “You can’t go back again.”

  12. The Summer Of Aaron

By Luc, in Fiction. 01/12/2011 (Updated: 01/12/2011)

You never know what you’re going to find when you’re running away. Justin and Aaron found each other.

  13. Sunrise On The Lake

By Luc, in Fiction. 01/12/2011 (Updated: 01/12/2011)

    A quiet moment on a lake—their lake—his and Michael’s.

  14. Remember Me

By Luc, in Fiction. 01/12/2011 (Updated: 01/12/2011)

Liam spends a night in a graveyard that he will always remember. But was it real? Or just a dream?

  15. Interlude

By Luc, in Fiction. 01/12/2011 (Updated: 01/12/2011)

Sometimes the connection between two souls is so deep that it transcends time and gender. This is a story about two such souls who are joined and then torn apart—and go on to seek and find each other through time.
