Loss - 7. You’re Still Gone - a song

A love is lost, a love is gained
And nothing in this world remains the same

Between the sunrise and sunset
Another day brings more regrets

And my heaven’s up above me
And my hell is here below
And you said you’d always love me
But I knew you’d have to go

And I dream that you’re still with me
And I’m loving you again
And you say you’ll never leave me
That you’ll be here ‘till the end.
And you kiss me and you tell me
That I’ll never be alone

But when I wake up in the morning
You’re still gone

Your silence and unspoken words
Were cries of pain I never heard

The hour glass fell from my hands
The winds of time swept away the sand

And my heaven’s up above me
And my hell is here below
And you said you’d always love me
But I knew you’d have to go

And I dream that you’re still with me
And I’m loving you again
And you say you’ll never leave me
That you’ll be here ‘till the end.
And you kiss me and you tell me
That I’ll never be alone

But when I wake up in the morning
You’re still gone
